Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will pursue a post secondary education in an agriculture related field. Essay and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Buren Fund Scholarship of the William Higgins Trust

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a male resident of Boone County pursuing a post secondary education. Essay and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Norma & Ed Castetter Memorial Endowment

Award: $350, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will pursue a post secondary education. Essay, principals recommendation and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Family Music Studio Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school. Essay and minimum 2.5 GPA required. Preference to Family Music Studio students who plan to remain active musically.

 

Florence Gruver Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who attended that school for all four years of high school and plans to pursue a career in teaching. Essay and minimum 2.8 GPA required.

 

Darrell A. Portell Memorial

Award: $350, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Boone County who was an active member of the 4-H program for the last three years and will attend a college or university in Indiana. Essay required.

 

Harold & Evelyn Rice Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will pursue post secondary education in ministry and is a male member of the Dover Christian Church. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Zionsville Fire Department/Larry K. Rust Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will major in engineering or public safety. Essay required.

 

Marjorie Stonehill- English, Journalism & Creative Arts Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will major in creative arts, english, or journalism and is in the top 30% of their class. Essay and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Robert Stonehill Pre-Medical Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will pursue a degree in medicine as a doctor. Essay required.

 

Joseph K. & Charlotte Carr Tyre Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will attend Wabash College. Essay and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Charlotte Carr Tyre Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will major in an agriculture-related field at Purdue University in West Lafayette. Essay and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Carl H. Witt Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who resides in Boone County and will attend a college or university in Indiana majoring in agriculture or business. Essay and minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

OPTIONS Scholarship Fund

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a resident of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan or Shelby County who will attend a college or university in Indiana. Financial need and academic promise must be demonstrated.
