Dunkin Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 17

Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming 2016-16 academic year. Applicant must reside in Kent or New Castle counties, DE; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Salem or Warren counties, NJ; Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton or Philadelphia counties, PA.

 

Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: November 15

Applicants must be doctoral students who have completed all course work and are performing dissertation research. Research topics should involve historical questions and should relate to the collections in the Hagley Library. Fellows will receive housing, office space, a computer and Internet access. A presentation is required at the end of the residence period.

 

Fresh Start Scholarship

Applicants should be women at least 20 years old with financial need who have a high school diploma or G.E.D., have had at least a two year break in education either after finishing high school or during college studies and are enrolled in a Delaware college in a two- or four-year degree program at the undergraduate level. Applicants should have at least a C average if already in college.

 

Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 7

Applicants must be high school seniors or college freshmen or sophomores who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for high school seniors or 2.75 for college students. Selection is based on academic excellence, community involvement, leadership skills, awards and honors and financial need.

 

Lou Manzione Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be a high school senior in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware and registered with USA Hockey. Selection is based on the personal essay, scholastic achievement, the coach and teacher recommendations and extracurricular activities.

 

Better Business Bureau of Delaware Foundation Student Ethics Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 7

Applicants must demonstrate leadership, community service, personal integrity and academic strength and must plan to attend an accredited college or university. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required of applicants. Applicants must be nominated/sponsored by an employee, owner or company principal representing a BBB Accredited Business.

 

New Jersey Open Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 14

Applicants must be a high school senior who is a member of a USA Roller Skating club in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware and must compete in the New Jersey Open Invitational. Selection is based on skating achievements and participation, academic success and financial need.

 

Frank McHenry Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 14

Applicants must be high school seniors who are involved with competitive artistic roller skating in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware. Students must be members of a USA Roller Skating club and be registered to compete in the Eastern Regional Championships. Selection is based on skating participation and success, academic achievement and financial need.

 

DuPont/Delaware FFA Endowment Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicants must be Delaware residents with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Those with experience in state or local leadership are given preference. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Kent Nutrition Group Inc. FFA Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicants must be working toward a degree in one of the following fields: animal science, animal nutrition, dairy science, poultry science, equine/equestrian science, agriculture, agricultural science, agricultural business management, economics, finance or marketing and sales. Applicants must attend college in and be residents of one of the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia or West Virginia. Joe J. Welker Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: December 30

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who either are attending a school located in Delaware or are Delaware residents. They must have plans to enroll in an ABET-accredited engineering program in the fall following high school graduation. They must have a minimum SAT verbal score of 500, a minimum SAT math score of 600 and a minimum SAT writing score of 500. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Mid-Atlantic Chapter CMAA Scholarships

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 25

Applicants must be current full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate level college students who are pursuing a curriculum related to the construction industry and reside or attend college in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware. Students must have completed one full year of academic studies and have a minimum of one full year of studies remaining.

 

NACE Eastern Area Scholarship

Applicants must be a permanent resident of the United States and be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate in an accredited engineering or physical science degree program at a two or four-year college or university. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a permanent address within the NACE Eastern Area which includes the following states and/or U.S. Territories: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana (excluding Lake, Porter La Porte, Newton and Jasper counties), Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
