Non-Resident Transfer Student Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.8 GPA who is not a resident of Utah. Applicant must have completed a two0year college associate degree program or its equivalent in a state contiguous to Utah.

 

Vito Marzullo Internship

Award: -, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be an Illinois resident and have completed an undergraduate degree by the commencement of the program. Selection based on academic honors, community or public service, extracurricular activities, and leadership ability. Placement primarily in Springfield with limited placements in Chicago and Washington, D.C.

 

Academic Finalist

Award: $5,819, Deadline: February 1 (freshmen); March 1 (transfers)

Applicant must have a minimum ACT composite score of 27 or 45 transferable credit hours. Award is the equivalent of in-state tuition.

 

President's Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, minimum composite ACT score of 23 or combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070, and be an out-of-state resident.

 

General Nonresident Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a nonresident, demonstrate high academic achievement, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a first degree-seeking student enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester). Incoming freshman applicant must rank in top 3% of secondary school class. Sophomore, junior, and senior applicants must be current or previous recipients of award. Recipients must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Arizona community service off campus at a nonprofit agency during year of award.

 

Marie Shea Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a nonresident of Arizona and a full-time student and demonstrate financial need.

 

High School Scholarship Program

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a resident of Cook County who will be enrolling as a full-time student at an accredited bachelor's degree-granting institution. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required. Children or siblings of current or former Pullman Scholars may also apply provided they meet the above requirements.

 

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of a parent who has a degree from U of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is a current member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Applicant must be a nonresident of Arkansas and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a composite ACT score of 24-36 (combined SAT I score of 1110-1600). Applicant must submit Arkansas Alumni Legacy Data Form and apply for and be accepted for admission.

 

Legacy Tuition Reduction Grant

Applicant must be a nonresident and the child of a parent with a degree from U of Arkansas, Fayetteville and who is a current member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Applicant must submit Arkansas Alumni Legacy Data Form and apply for and be accepted for admission.

 

Non-Resident Award

Applicant must be an entering freshman student who is not a resident of Michigan. Applicant must meet Oakland admission criteria and live in university housing for two years.

 

David C. Lizarraga Fellowship

Applicant must be a first-generation college student who is in need of financial support and is a permanent resident of one of the specified communities in California, Illinois, New York, or Texas. Applicant must be enrolled in a full time graduate program and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. A pool of applicants will be invited to an interview, where the recipient of the fellowship will be selected based upon leadership, professional/extracurricular achievement, commitment to development of communities, and financial need.

Global Tiger Scholarship

Applicant must be a non-resident International undergraduate student, with high GPA and ACT scores, 575 or above for TOEFL score. Selection is based upon leadership potentials, two letters of recommendation from a teacher of school master requested.

 

National Scholars Award

Selection is based upon academics and GPA. Preference is given to residents of Durham Township, Hancock County, IL.

 

George and Lucille Pittard Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who ranked in the top quarter of their high school class with a minimum composite ACT score of 25. Preference granted to graduates of Alexis High School or Mercy County.

 

Frank W. Banks Four-Year Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of a McDonough County, IL, high school or of a high school in an adjacent county. Rank in top 15% of secondary school class and financial need are required. Evidence of academic performance, extra-curricular activities, employment history, and community service will be considered.

 

Leon L. and Marion B. Lamet Four-Year Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum composite ACT score of 25 and financial need. First preference will be given to high school graduates and residents of Hancock County, IL; second preference given to high school graduates and residents in counties bordering Hancock County.

Chancellor's Merit Award

Applicant must be able to fall into one of these categories: (a) a non-Indiana resident, ranking in the top quarter of their class, with a minimum 1650 composite SAT (composite ACT score of 24 with writing), or or have earned a SAT score of 1800 (27 ACT with writing); (b) a transfer student from another regionally accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 credits and a cumulative GPA of 3.0; (c) a transfer student from another regionally accredited college or university having completed 24 credit hours or more at more than one college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at each institution attended. Transfer students with fewer than 24 credits completed will be evaluated on their high school record and test scores. International students who are beginning at the university must have scored a minimum 600 on the TOEFL if the test was paper-based or a minimum of 87 if the TOEFL was Internet-based. International students must ask the Office of International Education to recommend them for scholarship consideration.
