W + M Donham Scholarship

Applicant must be a New England resident who is majoring in business/economics.

 

Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 6

Applicant must be a high school senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has proven their ability to put the spirit of competition above winning while participating in a varsity sport. Community service work is also required. Applicant must write an essay explaining why they are a good sport on and off the field. Applicants who meet all requirements and complete the essay will be voted on in an online competition; 10 applicants from each New England state with the most votes will be interviewed by a select panel of judges.

Applicant must be a full-time student and one of the following: a United States citizen who is a non-Florida resident living in the United States or a United States territory or an eligible non-citizen (permanent resident).

 

Hanscom Air Force Base Spouses' Club Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a dependent of a retired, deceased or current active duty member of any branch of the military, hold a valid military ID card, and reside within a 150 mile radius of Hanscom Air Force Base or be a dependent of a sponsor stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base. Children of service members must be high school seniors.

 

A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc., Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of New England who is attending an accredited college or university as a full time student (taking at least nine credit hours). Applicant must be the child (biological/adopted/step) of an A.L.S. patient (either living or deceased).

 

A. Leigh Phillips Scholarship

Award: $700, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a student with a disability(ies) under IDEA and Chapter 101 who is going on to post-secondary education. Applicant must have exceptional achievement in one or more of the following: academics, extra-curricular, leadership, and/or volunteerism.

 

Josephine Hooker Shain Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a resident of Georgetown, ME, who has applied to or has been accepted at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

 

Governor Longley Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a Maine native (born in Maine or graduate from a Maine high school) who is first-year, full-time student at Eastern Maine Community College as of this upcoming fall. Completed FAFSA and financial need are required.

 

Hope Milliken McNally Scholarship

Award: $800, Deadline: June 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be an Ellsworth High School graduate who has been accepted into a degree, diploma, or certificate program at Eastern Maine Community College.

 

Montello-Sawyer Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a Maine student who plans to attend an accredited, post-secondary educational program. Applicant must be a member of the Appraisal Institute or have a parent or legal guardian who is a member of the Maine Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

 

Nursing Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Maine resident who has been accepted in an accredited B.S.N. or M.S.N. nursing program.

 

Mitchell Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of Maine who plans to attend a two- or four-year degree program at an accredited college or university and must be a graduating senior from a public high school in Maine. Selection is based on academic promise, community impact and financial need.

 

Churchill Family Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 26

Applicant must be a high school student from Maine who is planning to begin a four-year degree program in vocal music education or performance for the upcoming fall semester.

 

Central Maine Power Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from a Maine high school who is a dependent of a Central Maine Power employee or retiree. Applicant must be enrolling in a post-secondary educational program.

 

Barbara C. Littlefield Vocal Scholarship

Award: $2,100, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25 who is a resident of the state of Maine. Applicant must be a music major in the fall semester at any accredited music school, college, or university. Audition (not to exceed 15 minutes) requires applicants to perform at least two memorized compositions from two different periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern).

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Unitil Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Unitil service territory in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts who plans to major in science, technology, engineering, or math. Selection based upon academic merit, financial need, other scholarships awarded, outside student activities and other relevant factors such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year.

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Regional Provost Scholarship
