Scholarships in Missouri

Out-of-State Capstone Scholar

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1210 and 1240).

 

Out-of-State Grant

Award: $3,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be a resident of any state except Kansas. FAFSA is required.

 

PHD ARA Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have an amateur radio license. Preference is given to residents of ARRL Midwest Division (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska) and to children of deceased radio amateurs.

 

Chapter 17 - St. Louis Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a student enrolled in a manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, or other related program. First preference will be given to applicants who reside within the boundaries of St. Lewis Chapter 17. Second preference will be given to applicants who reside within the state of Missouri. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required.

 

Truman Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior from Missouri with a record of exceptional academic and co-curricular accomplishments, highlighted by captivating leadership potential. Top candidates demonstrate energetic leadership in the classroom, school, and community - generally illustrating class rank, GPA, and ACT/SAT scores that place them at the pinnacle of their peer group.

 

Out-of-State Tuition Assistance Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must show academic ability and not be a resident of Idaho.

 

Bright Flight Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant must be a Missouri resident whose SAT Reasoning or ACT scores place him/her in the top 3% of Missouri residents taking those tests. Award may be used at any Missouri institution of higher education.

 

McNair Scholars Award

Award: $12,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be from outside South Carolina. Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership, and character.

 

Mt. Garfield Non-Resident Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of any state other than Colorado, and have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 15 (Priority)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, minimum composite ACT score of 30 (minimum combined SAT score of 1300), and be a resident of Missouri.

 

Donald George Romero Magazine Award

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

Curl Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (minimum 3.5 GPA in political science). Preference is given to a student from southwest Missouri with a rural background.

 

Future Farmers of America Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must have placed in the top ten in the southwest Missouri FFA contest.

 

Multicultural Leadership Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must rank in the upper half of class and demonstrate leadership in the minority community through involvement in school or community organizations.

 

COBA Transfer Scholarship

Award: $3,600, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must have completed at least 60 credit hours at a community college with a minimum 3.2 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be a U.S. citizen. Preference given to residents of Missouri.

 

Minority Teacher Education Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must rank in the top quarter of class, score in the 75th percentile on the SAT Reasoning or ACT, and be a minority Missouri resident.

Applicant must reside in a state other than Georgia and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

A+ Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to Missouri residents who are members of the Disciples of Christ.

Dance Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a full-time, non-resident student with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

 

The Tilles Fund Scholarship Award

Applicant must be an incoming freshman entering immediately after graduating high school who is a resident of St. Louis or St. Louis County, MO. Applicant must be nominated by the financial aid office at their Missouri college or university.

Applicant must be a US citizen who is a resident of Missouri planning to pursue a specified, high-demand field of study.

 

Blue & Gold Level 1 Scholarship

SSU Development Foundation Diversity Scholarship

Applicant cannot be a resident of Ohio or have attended high school in Ohio. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and preference is given to minorities.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Student Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.8 GPA who is not a resident of Utah. Applicant must have completed a two0year college associate degree program or its equivalent in a state contiguous to Utah.

 

President's Scholarship
