Applicant must be a child, grandchild, adopted child, or stepchild of an American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary member. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, be loyal to his/her country, and show qualities of initiative and desire. Approval of application by a post of the American Legion is required.

 

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Applicant must be a resident of Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, or Nebraska. Secondary school applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA or rank in the top quarter of class and have a minimum composite ACT score of 24. Transfer applicant must have completed at least 24 credit hours and have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

Applicant must be an undergraduate student who has completed at least 60 units, but no more than 96 cumulative units by the end of spring. Applicant must have attended the pre-application workshop and have a Northridge faculty member agree to sponsor a project the same year the applicant applies for the award. Lighthouse International's Scholarship and Career Awards

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident enrolled full-time at a U of Wisconsin campus, Wisconsin Tech Coll or independent Wisconsin institution. Applicant must have the highest GPA in his or her class.

 

Handicapped Student Grant

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident with a severe or profound hearing or visual impairment and must attend a Wisconsin school or an eligible out-of-state school. Selection is based upon financial need. Applicant must submit FAFSA and grant application.
