Applicant must be a resident of Lane County who will major in nursing at Lane Community College or Oregon Health & Science University. FAFSA required.

 

Bertha P. Singer Nurses Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be at least a second-year student in a nursing program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

 

Franz Stenzel M.D. and Kathryn Stenzel Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon who will major in medicine, nursing, or as a physician assistant. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 (2.5 for college students) GPA required.

 

Mabel C. Sargent Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a junior or senior nursing student at the University of Wyoming enrolled in a program leading to a B.S.N.

 

Myron D. Kiesling Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering freshman or currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or nursing at an accredited college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Watson Nursing Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must major in nursing. Preference to graduates of Jackson or Josephine County high schools, or those attending Oregon Health & Science University. FAFSA required.

 

Ruby A. Brown Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or adult student who will be or currently is enrolled at an accredited, not-for-profit nursing program. Applicant must be from one of the following counties in Tennessee: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, or Union. Financial need is required.

 

Dorsey and Betty King Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Campbell or Claiborne Counties who is a graduating senior from Claiborne or Campbell County High Schools. Applicant must be planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited public or private, not-for-profit college, university, or nursing program.

 

Knebel Family Nursing Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Lebanon High School who will pursue a bachelors of science degree in nursing. Essay and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Karen Fleming Metzger Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Boonville High School pursuing a career in nursing. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

Donna Duzan Nursing Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current resident of Hancock County and able to show proof of enrollment or acceptance in a program for registered nursing or a specialization program within the nursing field.

 

Francis & Marian Mundell Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of Shenandoah high school who is 24 years of age or older and attending an accredited college or university full- or part-time in pursuit of a certificate or degree as a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from New Castle High School who will major in nursing at an accredited college or university. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Marilyn Tomey Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Henry County high school who will attend a college or university in Indiana pursuing a four-year degree in nursing. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Roger Burke Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from New Castle High School who will pursue a career in nursing. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Viva Campbell Nursing Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 16

Applicant must be a graduating female senior from New Castle High School who will pursue a registered nursing degree. Financial need and minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Karen Ann Coffman Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew County who will pursue an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited post-secondary institution. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Columbus Rotary Scholarship in Honor of Judson S. Erne

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Bartholomew County high school who will attend a college, university or technical school pursuing a degree in divinity, education, nursing or social work. Community service and minimum 2.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew County pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Mildred B. Price Nursing Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a resident of Grant, Hamilton, Knox, Pulaski, Madison, Sullivan, White, or Starke County who is enrolled in or accepted to a four-year baccalaureate program for nursing at an accredited college in Indiana. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Cancer Care/Betsy Tontini Nursing Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County High School or current Wenatchee Valley College student who plans to enroll or is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Wenatchee Valley College. Applicant must demonstrate leadership ability by participating in community service and extracurricular activities, demonstrate significant change of success, and financial need.

 

CVCH Nursing Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a Wenatchee Valley College student who is enrolled in a nursing program. Applicant must demonstrate a strong commitment to the nursing profession and to the community in which they serve. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
