Applicant must be a licensed vocational nurse graduate who is practicing direct patient care. Program looks to increase the number of registered nurses practicing in medically underserved areas of California. Selection is based upon financial need, career objectives within the next five to 10 years, community involvement, community background, and academic performance.

Nursing Education Loan/Scholarship - M.S.N. or Ph.D

Applicant must be a student seeking a masters or doctorate degree in nursing at a Mississippi college or university. Applicant may fulfill the service obligation by working as a professional nurse educator in Mississippi for one year for each year of money received.

 

Nursing Education Teacher Stipend

Applicant must be a Mississippi resident who is a licensed registered nurse, seeking a masters or doctoral degree at a Mississippi college or university. Participant must agree to teach in an accredited Mississippi school of nursing and have received the Nursing Education Loan/Scholarship for Masters or Doctorates.

 

Nursing Education Loan/Scholarship - BSN

Applicant must be a junior or senior student seeking a bachelor's degree in nursing at a Mississippi college or university. Participants may fulfill the loan-to-scholarship service obligation by working as a nurse for one year for each year of loan received.

Applicant must be a licensed registered nurse who is seeking a bachelor's degree in nursing at a Mississippi college or university. Recipient may fulfill the loan-to-scholarship service obligation by working as a professional nurse in Mississippi.

Snipes-Meyer-Vorhies Nursing Scholarship Fund (VocEd)

Applicant must be enrolled as a student majoring in nursing at Maui Community College. Minimum 3.0 GPA for undergraduate, 2.0 for A.S. and C.A. required. Preference given to students in the Associate of Science (A.S.) in Nursing or the Certificate of Achievement (C.A.) programs. Preference may be given to students of Hawaiian ancestry.

 

The Nancy Gerald Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a junior or senior level college student from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle who exhibits integrity, thriftiness, ambition, moral character and a sincere desire to achieve a higher education. Applicant must be majoring in the field of nursing at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

The Marsh Minority Scholarship

Applicant must be a college junior, senior or masters level African-American or Hispanic student majoring in the field of allied health, education, general studies, nursing or sociology at West Texas A&M University.

 

Luigi and Amalia Setacci Bursary

Applicant must be a resident of Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Klamath, or Lake County who will major in nursing or theology at a public or nonprofit college. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA (2.0 for college students) required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

Chester and Helen Luther Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon or Clark County, Washington who is a first-generation college attendee, is 25 years of age or older, and will enroll at least half time in a nursing or medicine major at a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon or Clark County, Washington. Mildred I. Martignone Nurse Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of District 7, Oregon Nurses Association, Umatilla County (cities of Adams, Athena, Cayuse, Dale, Gibbon, Helix, Meacham, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Rieth, Sunnyside, Ukiah, Umapine, and Weston) who is entering their final year of an accredited nursing program at a public or nonprofit college or university.
