Aviation Scholarship Program

Award: $3,000, Deadline: July 8

Applicant must be a resident of Pennsylvania who is interested in an aviation career. Applicants for the Professional Pilot category must hold a student pilot certificate and be able to show proof that they have soloed.

 

Christian Worker Dependent Discount

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be the dependent of a full-time Christian worker involved in non-profit ministry as a missionary, pastor, or Christian school teacher/administrator. Must demonstrate need.

 

Texas College Work-Study

Award: $2,160, Deadline: April 1 (Priority)

 

Vermont Police Association: Raymond R. Mooney Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue education or training in a field related to emergency services at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

John Cornelius and Max English Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Marine tanker, former Marine tanker, or survivor, dependent, or under legal guardianship of a Marine, who served in a tank unit or is on active duty, retired, reserve, or has been honorably discharged. The Marine tanker must be a member of MCTA or plan to join.

 

Girl Scout Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a woman and a recipient of the Girl Scout Silver or Gold Award, and must submit essay describing Award work and letter requesting consideration by February 15 prior to enrollment.

 

Second Marine Division Association Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,200, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be the unmarried child or grandchild of a person who served in the Second Marine Division or a unit attached to the Second Marine Division. Family income is not to exceed $75,000 yearly.

Polish Women's Civic Club Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident and a resident of Illinois with at least one parent of Polish descent. Applicant must be a full-time student attending a Chicago-area accredited college or university for the academic year. Selection is based upon academic ability and financial need. Photograph, financial need form, official transcript, and letters of recommendation are required.

Preferences is given to applicants with Sephardic background or those studying Sephardic studies.

 

Montana Space Grant Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is enrolled as a full-time student at one of the Montana Space Grant Consortium campus studying a field relevant to NASA's mission.

 

ROTC Service Scholarship

Award: $2,880, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Kansas resident enrolled in ROTC and intend to become a commissioned officer in the Kansas National Guard. Applicant must be a full-time student with demonstrated financial need.

 

Eleanor Allwork Scholarship Grant Programs

Award: $7,000, Deadline: March 23

Applicants must be enrolled in architectural programs at schools in New York City and New York State. Applicants are nominated by Deans of architecture schools based on high levels of academic achievement and evidence of financial need.

 

Dependent Children Scholarship

Applicant must be a Tennessee resident and United States citizen who is the dependent child of a law enforcement officer, fireman, or emergency medical technical who was killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty while employed in Tennessee. Applicant must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at an eligible Tennessee postsecondary institution. Financial need as determined by FAFSA.

 

General Motors Engineering Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must have minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be a member of an American Tribe, enrolled full time as undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college. Preference given to electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering majors.

 

Music Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 15 (priority)

Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, rank in the top half of their class, and have a minimum composite ACT score of 20. Certain scholarships require applicants to be a music major. Selection is based upon talent and participation in music (choral or instrumental). Participation in music ensembles and music lessons are required. Audition is required.

 

Vermont State Grange Alice Cossingham Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont pursuing a degree in nursing at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement, financial need and community service must be demonstrated.

 

Jedidiah Zabrosky Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in business or education at a Vermont state college and is currently employed (minimum 10 hours/week). Financial need, community involvement, and minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

Harness Tracks of America Scholarship
