NMIA Scholarship

Applicant must be the dependent child of an NMIA member.

 

Producer's Council Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be an environmental design undergraduate student in architecture who will be entering the first year of study toward the Master of Architecture in September following the award presentation. Applicant must be a Colorado resident.

 

Douglas Darden Memorial Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado and have financial need and merit.

 

College of Business Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.4 GPA, must demonstrate excellence or potential for excellence in business; scholarship open to domestic and international students.

 

College of Business Sustaining Student Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be an undergraduate business student with at least fifteen semester hours of College of Business course work completed, open to both domestic and international students.

 

Dean's Scholarship for Undergraduate Business Students

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado and have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need and can be either a domestic or international student.

 

Coulter Foundation Scholarship in Entrepreneurial Studies and Business

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 10

Applicant can be either domestic or an international student, international student(s) must have a minimum 575 TOEFL score, breadth of vision in planning educational and career goals, and evidence of civic and social responsibility. Special consideration to student(s) enrolled in entrepreneurial courses.

 

Abbott Fellows Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must demonstrate leadership potential in management practice in hospital administration, and financial need.

 

Robert E. Moore Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA (graduates); minimum 2.75 GPA for undergraduates. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Colorado Scholars

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado, have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at CU-Denver, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

 

William Robert Simmons Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, demonstrate an exuberant and inquisitive attitude toward learning. Applicant must qualify for Colorado in-state tuition, be enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester.

 

Leadership, Excellence, Achievement & Diversity Program Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a first generation college student and a student of color. Participation in minority Arts and Sciences program, Multicultural Engineering program or McNeils Academic program required.

 

Joel Roger Wayne Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must demonstrate financial need.

 

Hispanic Alumni Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to study Hispanic/Latino American culture, education, and history. Selection is based upon merit and financial need.

 

Hope (General) Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Maryland resident, apply as a high school senior, have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA, enroll in an eligible program at a Maryland college or university, and have a combined annual family income of less than $95,000.

 

Owen Leffler Memorial Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, demonstrate financial need and academic ability.

 

AIADA/John E. Andrews Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be the employee or child of an employee who is a member of the American International Automobile Dealers Association, a letter from an AIADA dealer must accompany the scholarship application.

 

AIADA/John E. Andrews Endowed Scholarship

Award: $950, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be an employee or child of an employee who is a member of the American International Automobile Dealers Association, a letter from an AIADA dealer must accompany the scholarship application.

 

Transfer Club Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a member of one of the following programs: Delta Epsilon Chi, Phi Beta Lambda, Business Professionals of America, Students in Free Enterprise, or Phi Theta Kappa. Minimum 2.7 GPA required; Phi Theta Kappa members must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

General Motors Minority Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a minority student with demonstrated financial need and academic merit.

 

Pittsburgh Auto Trade Association Annual Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen with a minimum 2.5 GPA. First preference will be given to a student from Pittsburgh, followed by the state of Pennsylvania.

 

Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen with demonstrated academic excellence and financial need.

 

Federal Mogul in the Industry Partnership Program

Award: $6,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be of minority decent, attended high school in the Metro Detroit area or Southeastern Michigan region. Financial need is a consideration, a minimum 2.5 GPA and an acceptable SAT score. Interview is required.
