College applicants must be currently enrolled in a contracting or business field of study and high school students must enroll in a contracting or business field of study within one year of award.

Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students pursuing a degree in Business Administration or other business-related field. Minimum 3.5 GPA required. Students must be U.S. citizens and preference will be given to those who are female, have a disability, or belong to one of the following minority groups: African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander or Native American/American Indian (must provide proof of membership to a tribe). Students must submit an essay on the topic provided. Essay selection will be based on the quality of research, originality and presentation.
