Part-Time Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) for County College Students

Award: -, Deadline: June 1 (for renewals); October 1 (for new applicants, fall and spring); March 1 (spring only)

Applicant must demonstrate financial need; be a New Jersey resident for at least 12 consecutive months prior to award, and be enrolled at a New Jersey two- or four-year college or university.

 

Outstanding Scholar Recruitment Plan (OSRP)

Award: $7,500, Deadline: October 15

Eligible institutions will notify students who may take part in the program. Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic progress for renewal.

 

Survivor Tuition Benefits Program (STBP)

Award: -, Deadline: October 1 (fall and spring); March 1 (spring)

Applicant must be spouse or child of NJ firefighter, emergency service worker or law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty.

 

Dana Christmas Scholarship for Heroism

Award: $10,000, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must have been 21 or younger at the time of heroic act and be a NJ resident.

 

NJ World Trade Center Scholarship Fund

Award: $6,500, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must be child or spouse of a NJ resident who was killed in 9/11 attacks. Applicant must be enrolled full time at an eligible institution and be a NJ resident. Eligibility is continued for eight years from the date of high school graduation for children and eight years from the date of death for spouses.

 

Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Scholarship (LEOMS)

Award: -, Deadline: October 1 (fall); March 1 (spring)

Applicant must be a child of a New Jersey law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty; full-time enrollment in an eligible (NJ approved) institution is required.

 

NJCLASS Loan Program

Award: -, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must be U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and be enrolled at least half time at eligible institutions. Applicant must have satisfactory academic progress and satisfactory credit history. A cosigner can be added if needed. Must fill all financial aid information by one school. May not exceed total cost of education. Loan is for NJ eligible institution or NJ resident attending an approved out-of-state institution

 

Scholarships for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans

Award: -, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be the dependent child or unremarried spouse of a Florida veteran who died as a result of service-connected injuries, diseases, or disabilities sustained while on active duty or who have been certified by the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs as having service-connected 100% permanent and total disabilities. The veteran must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who was a Florida resident for one year immediately preceding time of death and who died as a result of a service-connected disability sustained while on active duty. Veteran may also have been classified as a P.O.W. or M.I.A. by the Armed Forces of the United States or as a civilian personnel captured while servicing with the consent or authorization of the United States government during wartime service. The child or spouse must be a Florida resident and a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program for a minimum of six credit hours, 180 clock hours, or the equivalent at a post-secondary institution. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made.

 

Minority Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be an African-American, Hispanic, or Native American female. Applicant must be a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in the geosciences at an accredited college or university.

 

Puget Sound Chapter Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 19

Applicants must be undergraduate women committed to completing a Bachelor's Degree and pursuing a career or graduate work in the geosciences and have a minimum 3.2 GPA. Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior women enrolled in a university or 2-year college in Washington State west of the Columbis and Okanogan Rivers

 

Winifred Goldring Award

Applicant must be either an undergraduate or graduate student and enrolled as a student during the period of the award. Evaluation based on applicant's motivation and professional potential.

 

Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

Award: -, Deadline: June

Applicant must be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen who does not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. FAFSA must be submitted during last year in high school. Selection is based upon high school academic achievement.

 

Prairie Baseball Academy Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: October 15

Applicants must be Alberta residents and enrolled full time at a post-secondary institution in Alberta. Applicants must be a participant in the Prairie Baseball Academy and must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

Theodore R. Campbell Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: June 1

Applicants must be Alberta residents and have completed the first year of an education degree (university transfer) at Blue Quills First Nations College.

 

Stephanie Carroll Memorial Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be sponsored by a NADONA member-long term care related field.

 

Robert C. Carson Memorial Bursary

Award: $500, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must be an Alberta resident and a full-time student enrolled in the second year of either a law enforcement or criminal justice program.

 

Alberta Berley Commission - Eugene Boyko Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant attending an Alberta post-secondary institution as per Alberta Scholarship Programs regulations. Applicant must be enrolled in the second or subsequent year of post-secondary study and taking courses with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology.

 

International Education Awards - Ukraine

Applicant must be a post-secondary student or an apprenticeship student taking a practicum, internship, co-op, apprenticeship program, or a student conducting research (one-term).

 

Languages in Teacher Education Scholarships

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or individuals lawfully admitted to Canada for permanent residence. Applicants must be registered full-time in their final two years of a recognized teacher preparation program at an Alberta faculty of education.

 

Rickey Physics Scholarship

Applicant must be majoring in physics and be able to show exceptional academic achievement.

 

Alumni Legacy Grant

Applicant must be a child or grandchild of an alumnus/ae.

 

Language Teacher Bursary Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or individual lawfully admitted to Canada for permanent residence and residents of Alberta, hold a valid Alberta professional teaching certificate, and have been teaching in Alberta for a minimum of three years by the end of the current school year. Applicant must demonstrate a background in language learning, or have recently initiated the study of this language, plan to take a summer program of at least four weeks duration in a language/language teaching methodology other than English or related field at an institution outside of Canada, and have not previously been awarded a Language Teacher Bursary.

 

Ardath Louise Fogelsanger History Scholarship

Applicant must be an upper division major who demonstrates a love for and dedication to the study of history and is selected through a nomination process.

 

Trustee Scholarship

Award: $17,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a student attending Dominican University of California with a high school GPA of 3.8 or higher and strong SAT scores. Selection is based upon academic merit, leadership, school involvement, and community service.

 

International Student Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and/or financial need. Minimum 2.75 GPA (3.0 graduate) required.

 

Dean's Scholarship

Award: $11,500, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a student attending Dominican University of California. Selection is based upon academic merit, leadership, school involvement, and community service. Applicant's high-school GPA should be 2.7 or greater with strong SAT scores.

 

Accountancy Advisory Board Endowment

Applicant must be a student of record accepted into the accounting program at Eastern Illinois University. Minimum 3.2 GPA required.

 

Dominican Grant

Applicant must be a student at Dominican University of California and be able to demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be of African American, Native American, Latino, or Asian ethnicity.
