Applicant must be a disabled Canadian citizen or a permanent resident who has lived in Canada for at least two years. Applicant must be enrolled at a Canadian degree-granting institution or community college where he or she is following a degree program under the college-university transfer system.

 

Patricia L. Eidson Scholarship in Interior Architecture

Applicant must have earned the varsity letter "O" as a student athlete, and have completed his or her intercollegiate eligibility. Applicant must be nominated by the Athletic Director. Preference given to student athletes, but if there are no qualified candidates, other engineering students may be considered.

 

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund

Award: -, Deadline: Varies by county

Applicant must be a single parent who is living in Arkansas with custody of at least on minor child. Applicant must not have already received a four-year degree; however some applicants pursuing a master's degrees or higher may be considered. Application to the Federal Pell Grant is required. Other eligibility criteria, award amounts, deadlines, and application requirements vary by county; applicant must apply to the Single Parent Scholarship Fund that serves the county they live in.

Applicant must be a new transfer student entering Central Michigan University directly from a community college. Minimum cumulative 3.3 GPA with a minimum of 30 transferable credits are required.

 

Community College Honors Scholarship for Transfer Students

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be a community college graduate who enrolls directly at Central Michigan University as a full-time, on-campus student. Minimum 3.5 GPA and completion of associate degree or 56 completed credits are required.

 

Multicultural Advancement Scholarship

Award: $4,125, Deadline: February 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be a full-time student who has demonstrated interest though educational aspirations or past activities in the advancement of minorities in American society. Selection is based upon academic achievement, exceptional personal talent, appropriate work or service experiences, demonstrated leadership, a history of overcoming disadvantages, and an ability to communicate with minority and majority student groups. On-campus residency during their freshman and sophomore years is required.

 

Advantage Scholarship
