Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and minimum composite ACT score between 32 and 36 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1400 and 1600).

Out-of-State Capstone Scholar

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1210 and 1240).

Out-of-State Grant

Joseph P. Gavenonis Scholarship

Church Training and Deaconess House Scholarship Fund

Applicant must submit high school transcripts, standardized test scores, and evidence of financial need. Selection is based upon secondary school achievement, standardized test scores, school recommendations, personal qualifications, and demonstrated financial need.

Applicant must be enrolled in a course of study relating to a degree in nuclear science or nuclear engineering in a U.S. institution. Applicants must have some affiliation with Western Pennsylvania or must attend school at a nearby university within the region. Applicant must be sponsored by an ANS local section, division, student branch, committee member or organization member.

Recipients must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Arizona community service off campus at a nonprofit agency during year of award.
