LTK Engineering Services Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: March 10

Applicants must either be current COMTO members or be willing to join within 30 days of receiving the scholarship. Students must be at least in their junior year of college or in graduate school, and they must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be enrolled in at least twelve credits per semester. Students must submit a short essay and two letters of recommendation.

 

William Woods University Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program

Applicants must be rising undergraduate juniors or seniors who are majoring in education at an accredited South Dakota college or university. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or better, demonstrate financial need, participate in extracurricular activities and display a commitment to the teaching profession. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Lebanese American Heritage Club Scholarships

Applicants must U.S. citizens and Michigan residents and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (3.5 for graduate students). They must maintain full-time status. Special consideration is given to students majoring in mass communications, political science and related fields, those enrolled or planning to attend institutions that contribute to the Arab American Scholarship Fund and those who did not receive the scholarship in the preceding year.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and full-time undergraduates who are in the second year of a four-year degree program or in the third year of a five-year degree program. They must be attending an accredited minority serving institution (MSI), and they must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher on a four-point scale. Applicants must be majoring in a discipline that is related to environmental, atmospheric or oceanic sciences. Selection is based on relevant coursework completed, stated career goals, recommendations and extracurricular activities.

Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-granting program in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics or the natural sciences. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Middle Class Scholarship Program for California State University, Chico

Award: $4,500, Deadline: March 2

The Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) program provides funding to help middle-class students attend the University of California or California State University. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application by March 2 of each year. Family income and household assets must be under $150,000 per year to qualify for this scholarship. The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and school financial aid office will determine the actual amount each student receives. New, transfer and returning undergraduate students at the University of California or California State University with annual family income and household assets of up to $150,000 may also be eligible. The average award is $4,500.

 

Leo Bourassa Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicants must be Virginia residents and students in good standing at an accredited college or university in the state. They must complete at least two semesters of undergraduate study by the award date. They must also be full-time undergraduate or full- or part-time graduate students enrolled in curriculum related to water resources.

CampusRN Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be nursing students at schools that have registered in the scholarship program by linking to the CampusRN website. An essay is required. Finalists may be asked to submit awards, letters of recommendation and other materials upon selection. One award is given for each of the six geographical regions.

Applicants must be Virginia residents who are lineal descendants of a worthy Confederate veteran. They must be undergraduate or graduate students who are majoring in pre-medicine or engineering at a Virginia postsecondary institution. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and undergraduates working towards a degree within the textiles arena. They must be attending a college with a student chapter of AATCC in New England, New York or New Jersey. Specific institutions include Buffalo State University, Fashion Institute of Technology, University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and the University of Rhode Island. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, financial need and work experience/history. Students may apply directly or be nominated by a university department head.
