Ted Bridges Hospitality Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue education or training related to hospitality or tourism at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need and academic achievement must be demonstrated.

 

Hendricks County Tourism Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a resident of Hendricks County pursuing a two- or four-year degree in tourism or a related major.

 

Pizza Pub Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue a program of study in culinary arts, hospitality or tourism.

 

Shirley A.Preissel and Debbie A. Dobyns Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue a two- or four-year program related to the hospitality field.

 

A.M. Hargis Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior, nontraditional student or returning adult from Adams, Blaine, Boone, Buffalo, Clay, Custer, Dawson, Franklin, Furnas, Garfield, Gosper, Greeley, Hall, Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Kearney, Loup, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls, Phelps, Platte, Polk, Sherman, Valley, Webster or Wheeler County, NE who will pursue a certificate, diploma or associate degree in business, health, travel or tourism.

 

Alberta Brannon Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior who will enroll in the hospitality and tourism program at MetroTech Technology Center. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

General Scholarship for Higher Learning

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be majoring in a travel or tourism-related field.

 

Costa Rican Vacations Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at a US-based college or university, majoring in a field of tourism, sustainable development, or sustainable tourism. Minimum 2.8 GPA required.

 

Gypsy Lore Society Young Scholars' Prize

Award: $500, Deadline: October 30

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Required to write an under 50 page paper on Gypsy and Traveler Studies.

 

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Fund

Award: $7,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be women of any age pursuing a business or business-related program who demonstrate outstanding potential. Applicants must also have an outstanding academic record in their college career, and they must show intent to complete a business program.

 

Walter Schoenknecht Tourism and Travel Scholarship Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 23

Applicants must be Connecticut residents. They must be enrolled in a degree program in hospitality, travel or tourism at an accredited college or university. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
