Betty Lane Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (minimum composite ACT score of 27) who is majoring in education, family and consumer sciences, fashion merchandising and apparel design, hotel and restaurant management, interior design, or nutrition and food science/dietetics.

 

Apparel Education Foundation Scholarship

Passion for Fashion Competition

Applicant must be a high school student with a minimum 2.O GPA who is able to fulfill all general admission and competition guidelines (guidelines differ depending on whether applicant is competing in Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management).

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

FIDM National Scholarship Competition

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a high school junior or senior. Active membership in an Official FIDM Fashion Club is required. Award minimum granted to senior applicants; award maximum awarded to junior applicants.

 

Cache Scholarship Contest

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a high school senior with an interest in fashion. Prom contest entry form, essay about prom fashion trends, and Pinterest board about a dream career are required. Award is to attend the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM).

 

FIDM Fashion Club Presidential Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior and president of a FIDM Fashion Club.

 

FIDM Fashion Club Active Member Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: n/a

Applicant must be a high school junior or senior who is an Official FIDM Fashion Club student member and has attended at least eight FIDM Fashion Club meetings during the academic year.

 

AGCO Corporation FFA Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must have one of the following undergraduate majors: agronomy, crop science, general agriculture, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, sales and marketing, engineering, mechanization, agriculture power and equipment or welding. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board. Students must show financial need and evidence of community service participation.

 

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Fund

Award: $7,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be women of any age pursuing a business or business-related program who demonstrate outstanding potential. Applicants must also have an outstanding academic record in their college career, and they must show intent to complete a business program.
