Wachovia Scholars

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 30

Awarded to undergraduate or graduate students based on academic standing and financial need. Applicant must be from the Wachovia service area.

 

Atlantic Region Grant

Award: $2,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be a resident of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC.

 

President's Out of State Scholar Award

Award: $3,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be an incoming non-New York state resident admitted as an undergraduate freshman in Group I or Group II of the SUNY admissions matrix. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student, maintain residence outside of New York state, and live in a university residence hall. The Director of Admissions will choose the award recipients based on their admissions application, SAT scores, and high school grades.

 

President's International Scholar Award

Award: $3,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student, maintain a residence outside of New York and international student status, maintain normal academic progress, live in a university residence hall, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The Director of International Education will choose the award recipients based on their admissions application and transcript.

Fort Lewis Merit Scholarship for Non-Colorado Students

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 14

Applicant must have an Eligibility Index of 92 or higher and live outside of Colorado and the Western Undergraduate Exchange states.

 

International Student Scholarship

Award: $100, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a Hispanic student considered a non-resident of Arizona who has completed 12 or more College credits, with at least nine units in ESL. A 350- to 500-word letter stating reasons for deserving scholarship is required.

 

Success Scholarship

Award: $3,100, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must not be a resident of Michigan. Minimum 3.2 GPA required.

 

Academic Community Enrichment Scholarship (ACE)

Award: $7,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an out-of-state United States resident who satisfies at least two of the following criteria: ranks at least in the top 10% of their high school class; is a member of the National Honor Society; or has a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Applicants who do not meet that criteria, but possess significant leadership and involvement may also be considered.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who is not a resident of Utah, and has outstanding leadership abilities, activities, and achievements.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Diversity Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a transfer student who is not a resident of Utah. Application, recommendation, and online essay in which applicant illustrates their geographic, ethnic and/or cultural background, and how it will contribute to an educationally diverse experience for students at the University, are required to be submitted.

 

Non-Resident Merit Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering freshman who is not a resident of Utah, and is a National Merit Finalist.

 

Alumni Association Non-Resident Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen

Award: $5,800, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a current high school senior who is not a resident of Utah, but who's parent or grandparent is an University of Utah graduate. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and have been actively involved in service to their high school and/or community. Official transcript, a one-page essay, and letter of recommendation are required to be submitted.

 

University Merit - Non-Resident Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a non-resident student who is named as a finalist by the National Merit Corporation and who designates West Virginia University as their school of first choice by the National Merit Corporation's deadline date.

 

Provost Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a first-time, domestic, undergraduate degree-seeking student entering the university in the fall. Applicant must be a non-Michigan resident with a cumulative 3.0 GPA and an ACT composite score of 22 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1020). Admission application file is required to be submitted.

 

Diversity & Multiculturalism Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a first-time, domestic, undergraduate degree-seeking student entering the university in the fall. Admission application file must be completed and applicant must be admissible to the university. Essay questions, participation in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, and desire to add multiculturalism on campus are required.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $8,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a first-time, domestic, undergraduate degree-seeking student entering the university in the fall. Applicant must have a cumulative 3.5 GPA at the end of their junior year and a minimum composite ACT score of 25 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1130). Applicants are automatically considered for award provided they apply to the university.

 

Jewish Educational Loan

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Jewish resident of the Washington, DC metropolitan area who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or vocational training program in the United States.

 

Sahm/Goldman Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Jewish resident of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate study. Priority is given to applicants who are traveling to Israel for the first time. Selection is based upon financial need and academic merit.

 

Merit Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who will graduate high school on the United States mainland. Information provided on the admissions application, along with a high school transcript will determine criteria and eligibility of the award.

Dean's Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a non-resident freshmen student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and minimum 3.75 GPA.

 

Provost's Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a high school GPA between 3.5 and 3.74.

 

Jayhawk Generations Scholarship

Applicant must be an admitted first-time, non-resident freshman student whose parent, step-parent, legal guardian, grandparent, step-grandparent, or great-grandparent earned a degree at the university. Minimum 3.5 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 24) required.
