Greenwood Area Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of and attended a high school in Greenwood, Abbeville, or McCormick Counties. Applicant must rank in the top half of their secondary school class and demonstrate potential for campus and community leadership.

 

Out of State Access Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Keesee Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina who is of the Christian faith. Financial need is required.

 

Watson-Brown Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student with a permanent residence in one of the 18 designated county regions in Georgia or South Carolina. Applicant must plan to attend a four-year accredited, non-profit college. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Provost Scholarship

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

An application, financial statement, two recommendation letters, proof of baseball participation, transcript and essay are required. Selection is based on class rankings, strong school and community leadership and financial need. Applicants must be high school seniors or college freshmen or sophomores who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Archibald Rutledge Scholarship Program

Applicants must be high school seniors in South Carolina public schools, have attended South Carolina public schools for the past two consecutive years and be U.S. citizens. There are five categories: creative writing, dance, music, theater and visual arts. For the creative writing category, a sonnet, lyric or narrative poem no longer than one page must be submitted. For the dance category, an original, short dance composition of three to ten minutes. For the music category, an original composition of three to ten minutes must be submitted. For the theater category, an original one-act play with a performing time of eight to fifteen minutes. For the visual arts category, an original visual composition must be submitted. Compositions are judged on creativity, originality and quality of expression and content.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must be studying engineering and/or science at their chosen school.
