Presidential Partners Endowment Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least six semester hours, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, demonstrate involvement/leadership in the community or in student organizations or activities, and must be an U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area.

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund

Award: -, Deadline: Varies by county

Applicant must be a single parent who is living in Arkansas with custody of at least on minor child. Applicant must not have already received a four-year degree; however some applicants pursuing a master's degrees or higher may be considered. Application to the Federal Pell Grant is required. Other eligibility criteria, award amounts, deadlines, and application requirements vary by county; applicant must apply to the Single Parent Scholarship Fund that serves the county they live in.

 

Dance Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

Blue & Gold Level 1 Scholarship

Early Childhood Care Provider Student Loan Repayment

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident with an associate's, bachelor's, or graduate degree with a concentration in early childhood development or an equivalent program, and must agree to work a minimum of 31 hours per week as an employee, owner, or volunteer in a licensed child care facility for a minimum of two years.

 

Generations Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

SSU Development Foundation Diversity Scholarship

Applicant cannot be a resident of Ohio or have attended high school in Ohio. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and preference is given to minorities.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Student Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.8 GPA who is not a resident of Utah. Applicant must have completed a two0year college associate degree program or its equivalent in a state contiguous to Utah.

 

Young Artist Competition

Applicant must be a full-time student between the ages of 13 and 19 who is a high school student attending any public, private, parochial, or home high school in Greater Houston, TX. Applicant must be an instrumental musician and/or vocalist performing as a soloist or in an ensemble comprised of no more than five student musicians.

 

President's Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, minimum composite ACT score of 23 or combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070, and be an out-of-state resident.

 

W. Price Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Texas who is enrolled in any degreed food-service or hospitality program as a full-time student with at least three hours per semester devoted to food-service or hospitality management. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Lourania Miller & Gareth Morgan Scholarships

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 4

Applicant must be a resident of Texas who is a high school senior planning to continue their study of Latin and the classics while attending college. Recipient must take Latin or Greek their freshman year at college; enrollment in Latin cannot be at the beginning level.

 

General Nonresident Scholarship

Applicant must be a nonresident, demonstrate high academic achievement, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a first degree-seeking student enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester). Incoming freshman applicant must rank in top 3% of secondary school class. Sophomore, junior, and senior applicants must be current or previous recipients of award. Recipients must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Arizona community service off campus at a nonprofit agency during year of award.

 

Marie Shea Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a nonresident of Arizona and a full-time student and demonstrate financial need.

 

C.J. Davidson Scholarship

Award: $1,800, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Texas resident and Texas high school graduate, have a minimum grade average of 85, and have completed at least one year of family/consumer science or home economics in high school. Applicant must have been an active member of an affiliated chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) for at least two years, and enroll in an accredited Texas college or university. Essay on topic of applicant's choice relating to home economics or FCCLA required.

 

SALE School Tours Guide Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have participated as a School Tours Guide during the San Antonio Livestock Show, according to the rules set forth by the Chairman of the School Tours Committee and be a member in good standing of Texas Association, FCCLA. Applicant must attend an accredited Texas college or university in the fall semester after graduation from high school. 200-word essay on how agriculture or closely similar field relates to family/consumer science required.

 

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and/or be born in the U.S., be a resident of Texas, be a graduating high school senior who will graduate at the end of the spring semester immediately following award, and have passed the TAAS Mastery/Exit Level exam. Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT I score of 900 (minimum composite ACT score of 20), rank in top quarter of high school class, be a member in good standing of Texas Association, FCCLA, plan to enroll in a Texas college or university, and participate in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree. Applicant must indicate major and career planned and submit a typed narrative including importance of college education to applicant and specific career goals, a photograph, and three letters of personal reference.

 

Non-Resident Tuition Award for Entering Freshman From Neighboring States

Applicant must be a resident of Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, or Texas and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 24 (combined SAT I score of 1090).

 

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of a parent who has a degree from U of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is a current member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Applicant must be a nonresident of Arkansas and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a composite ACT score of 24-36 (combined SAT I score of 1110-1600). Applicant must submit Arkansas Alumni Legacy Data Form and apply for and be accepted for admission.

 

Legacy Tuition Reduction Grant

Applicant must be a nonresident and the child of a parent with a degree from U of Arkansas, Fayetteville and who is a current member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Applicant must submit Arkansas Alumni Legacy Data Form and apply for and be accepted for admission.

Applicant must be an entering freshman student who is not a resident of Michigan. Applicant must meet Oakland admission criteria and live in university housing for two years.

 

Dental Education Loan Repayment

Award: $10,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must agree to practice dentistry in an approved underserved area of Texas, to accept Medicaid assignments as full payment for services, and to never deny services based on a patient's ability to pay. Applicant must not have any existing service obligation.

 

Education Aide Exemption

Award: $692, Deadline: June 1; November 1; April 1

Applicant must be a Texas resident, and must attend a Texas public college or university. Applicant must have been working in the classroom with students for at least one full year out of the past five years as an educational aide, or have been a subsitute teacher with at least 180 days experience in the past five years, and must demonstrate financial aid.
