Applicant must be a resident of Clarendon, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter, or Williamsburg County, S.C. and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

 

Cortez A.M. Ewing Public Service Fellowship

Preference is given to students expecting to return to the U of Oklahoma campus in the fall following the summer congressional internship.

 

Kerr McGee Corporation Student Scholarship

Andree Memorial Scholarship

Ben Barnett Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time student in the Sch of Art and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and an outstanding portfolio.

 

Benton-Schmidt Vocal Scholarship

Audition required. Undergraduate applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Graduate applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

May M. Walker Business Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 17

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a full-time student. Selection is based upon academic ability, leadership, character, financial need, and potential for success in a business career.

 

Edward Grisso Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a male Oklahoma resident who has made substantial academic improvement since freshman year and demonstrates financial need.

 

Hesslein Scholarship

Applicant must be an unmarried Native American man, and must demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to applicants of Osage descent.

 

Zee and Madge May Vincent Scholarship

Selection is based upon merit and financial need. Preference is given to Logan County, Okla., residents.

 

Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Two, Three, and Four Year Green to Gold Scholarship

Applicant must be enlisted on active duty with a minimum of two years on active duty as of date of discharge, and meet medical and administrative requirements. Selection is based upon academic performance and leadership potential.

 

Cohos Evamy Partners Design Competition

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, have a minimum 2.8 GPA, and plan a career in structural engineering. Selection is based upon performance in the annual structural design competition. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

E. Catherine Barclay Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 15

Award is for full-time study at the U de Bourgogne in Dijon, France. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA and sufficient ability in oral and written French. Selection is based upon academic merit and extracurricular activities demonstrating good citizenship. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Jack T. Wood Bursary

Award: $2,800, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen and province of Alberta resident, have a minimum 2.6 GPA, and have made a contribution to a Faculty of Management student organization or other university activity. Selection is based upon outstanding academic merit, demonstrated leadership ability, and financial need.

 

Laurie Ircandia Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA and intend to pursue graduate study. Selection is based upon academic merit and extracurricular activities in the fields of study.

 

Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current AACCI Student Division member who is an advanced undergraduate (junior or senior status) and has an interest in and intent to pursue a career in grain-based food science and technology or in a related area, including oilseeds, in industry, academia, or government must be demonstrated. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Education Trust Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and full-time undergraduate or graduate student. Applicant must submit recommendations, statement, transcripts, and proposed study program (four copies of each). Selection is based upon academic excellence.

 

AORN Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a nursing program who is in a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral program. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

NAWIC Founders' Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Selection is based upon applicant's grades, extracurricular activities, employment experience, interest in construction, evaluations, and financial need.

 

Carole Fielding Student Grant

Award: $4,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graudate student who is sponsored by an active member of the University Film & Video Association or staff at a UFVA member institution. Applicant must submit a one-page project description, one-page resume, statement by sponsoring UFVA member, and budget. Production applicants must submit a 30 minute narrative, 60 minute documentary, and an experimental/animation/multimedia treatment or script, and/or storyboard (not to exceed 8.5 X 11 inches). Research applicants must submit a description of methodology and a statement indicating the relationship of proposed study to previous research in the field.

 

K2TEO Martin J. Green, Sr. Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have at least a general class radio license. Preference is given to student hams who come from ham families.

 

You've Got a Friend Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have at least a general class radio license and be a member of the ARRL. Preference is given to Pennsylvania residents.

 

Charles N. Fisher Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have an amateur radio license and be attending a regionally accredited school. Preference is given to residents of the ARRL Southwestern Division (Arizona and Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Santa Barbara, Calif.).
