Applicant must be a registered nurse seeking advanced preparation for a full-time position in supervision, administration, or teaching with a direct relationship to lung and respiratory control.

 

S.J. Cerny Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident, demonstrate financial need, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a full-time student. Preference is given to petroleum and geological engineering majors.

National Doctoral Fellowship in Business and Management

Alvin and Mona Libin Scholarship in Medicine

Applicant must be an Alberta resident entering the first year at the Faculty of Medicine M.D. program and have a minimum 3.2 GPA. Selection is based upon academic merit. Extracurricular activities and community involvement are considered. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellows

Education Trust Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and full-time undergraduate or graduate student. Applicant must submit recommendations, statement, transcripts, and proposed study program (four copies of each). Selection is based upon academic excellence.

 

AORN Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a nursing program who is in a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral program. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Carole Fielding Student Grant

Award: $4,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graudate student who is sponsored by an active member of the University Film & Video Association or staff at a UFVA member institution. Applicant must submit a one-page project description, one-page resume, statement by sponsoring UFVA member, and budget. Production applicants must submit a 30 minute narrative, 60 minute documentary, and an experimental/animation/multimedia treatment or script, and/or storyboard (not to exceed 8.5 X 11 inches). Research applicants must submit a description of methodology and a statement indicating the relationship of proposed study to previous research in the field.

 

K2TEO Martin J. Green, Sr. Memorial Scholarship

You've Got a Friend Scholarship

Charles N. Fisher Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have an amateur radio license and be attending a regionally accredited school. Preference is given to residents of the ARRL Southwestern Division (Arizona and Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Santa Barbara, Calif.).

L. Phil Wicker Scholarship

Applicant must have at least a general class radio license and be attending school in the ARRL Roanoke Division (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia). Preference is given to residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

 

Paul and Helen L. Grauer Scholarship

Applicant must have at least a novice class radio license and be attending school in the ARRL Midwest Division (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska). Preference is given to residents of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska and to applicants majoring in communications, electronics, or a related subject.

 

Perry F. Hadlock Memorial Scholarship
