Dorothy Heagy Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Coos County high school who will enroll as a college junior or above at a public or nonprofit college or university as an education major. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Nettie Hanselman Jaynes Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be entering their senior or fifth year at a four-year college or university in Oregon and majoring in education. FAFSA required.

 

Jim Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Klamath Union High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA required. Preference to those who attended Klamath Union for four years, were involved in athletics and will major in education.

 

Karen Kazen Neal Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have attended a Portland public elementary school or Wallowa High School and be attending a four-year public or nonprofit college or university pursuing a degree in teaching. FAFSA required.

 

Isabel and Mary Ellen Gill Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Newberg High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required. Preference to those planning a career as a teacher or educator.

 

Graduate Student Award Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled at least half time in an education, environmental, health-related, social work, or public service area at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Portland School Board Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Portland School District 1J high school who will major in education at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Harriet A. Simmons Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be pursuing a degree in education at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Dianna Mae Alfrey Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a student from Montpelier or Harrison Township who plans to pursue a degree in education.

 

Delta Theta Tau Sorority Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a resident of Blackford County who plans to pursue an associate's or bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or social work.

 

Dr. Richard Forrest & Ella Dudney Kelsey Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Collierville High school who plans to be enrolled full-time at an accredited Tennessee public, not-for-profit university or community college pursuing a career as an educator or health care professional. Financial need is required.

 

Jorden W. Nickols Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a Blackford County resident who participated in sports during high school and plans to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study in education, criminal justice, or a science-related field.

 

Roth Family Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a resident of Blackford County who plans to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study in education, science, or any medical field.

 

Florence Gruver Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who attended that school for all four years of high school and plans to pursue a career in teaching. Essay and minimum 2.8 GPA required.

 

Earl and Hazel Etienne Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Perry County high school who plans to major in education and pursue a career in education. Financial need and good academic standing must be demonstrated.

 

William J. Schergens Music Scholarship

Award: $1,020, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior or graduate of a Perry County high school who is pursuing a college degree in music or a degree in education with some emphasis on music. Financial need, good academic standing and minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

A. Myrtle Hensor Teaching Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a female graduating Princeton High School senior who is planning to pursue a career in education. Selection based upon financial need, achievement, and character.

 

Christine Dowling Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is a current resident of Hancock County and plans to continue their education at any post secondary institution.

 

Mervin K. Holzhausen Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Eastern Hancock, Greenfield-Central, Mt. Vernon, or New Palestine High School who will major in education at an accredited college or university in Indiana. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Eastern Hancock High School who intends to pursue a four-year degree in the field of education and participated in extracurricular sports for at least one year.

Applicant must be a graduating senior female from Mt. Vernon High School who will pursue a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or education at a four-year college or university.

 

V. Lloyd Acton Leadership in Education Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Avon High School pursuing a two- or four-year degree in education at a college or university in Indiana. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
