Applicant must be a fourth-year medical student entering a primary care internship/residency in West Virginia, be enrolled in the final year of a nurse practitioner, or an undergraduate physician assistant educational program at a West Virginia school.

Applicant must be a resident of Douglas County and a graduate of a Douglas County high school who will pursue a degree in medical technology, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy or public health at a public college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Chester and Helen Luther Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon or Clark County, Washington who is a first-generation college attendee, is 25 years of age or older, and will enroll at least half time in a nursing or medicine major at a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon or Clark County, Washington. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Jeannette E. Mowery Scholarship

Applicant must attend Oregon Health & Science University or an Oregon law school and major in dentistry, law or medicine. FAFSA required.

 

Gayle and Harvey Rubin Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of high school located in Blount, Loudon, or Knox (TN) County or a current college/university student who graduated from a high school located in any of those counties. Financial need is required.

Applicant must be a legal resident of Georgia who is enrolled in or accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in medicine or social work. Minimum 2.0 GPA, financial need, and history of commitment to community service are required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School who will major in a healthcare-related field at a two- or four-year college or university in Indiana, Western Kentucky, or Wabash Valley College in Southeastern Illinois. Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA required.

Bartholomew/Brown County Medical Society Medical Education Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew or Brown County who is entering medical school as a freshman or is in medical school as an upperclassmen at an American Medical Association approved medical school in the U.S.

 

Keith Bean Medical Scholarship

Applicant must be a past or current resident of Bartholomew or Brown County who are entering medical school as freshman or are upperclassmen at an American Medical Association approved medical school in the U.S and resided in Bartholomew or Brown County during their senior year of high school.
