Government of Alberta Graduate Scholarship

Award: $9,300, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a Canada citizen or permanent resident and is pursuing graduate study at an Alberta post-secondary institution.

 

Government of Alberta Graduate Fellowship

Award: $10,500, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a Canada citizen or permanent resident and is pursuing graduate study at an Alberta post-secondary institution.

 

Michael Luchkovich Scholarship for Career Development

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 1; April 1; August 1

Applicant must demonstrate outstanding ability in their work, are pursuing short-term, full-time study of less than six months, or part-time study. Applicants must have worked in Alberta for a minimum of three years.

 

Prairie Baseball Academy Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: October 15

Applicants must be Alberta residents and enrolled full time at a post-secondary institution in Alberta. Applicants must be a participant in the Prairie Baseball Academy and must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

Theodore R. Campbell Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: June 1

Applicants must be Alberta residents and have completed the first year of an education degree (university transfer) at Blue Quills First Nations College.

 

Robert C. Carson Memorial Bursary

Award: $500, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must be an Alberta resident and a full-time student enrolled in the second year of either a law enforcement or criminal justice program.

 

Alberta Berley Commission - Eugene Boyko Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant attending an Alberta post-secondary institution as per Alberta Scholarship Programs regulations. Applicant must be enrolled in the second or subsequent year of post-secondary study and taking courses with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology.

 

Anna and John Kolesar Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a resident of Alberta and plan to enroll full-time in the first year of a program in a Faculty of Education. Applicants must be from a family where neither parent obtained a university degree.

 

Dr. Ernest and Minnie Mehl Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: June 1

Applicants must be a Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who has completed grade 12 in Alberta at a school that follows the Alberta Education Curriculum. Applicant must be continuing their studies at a degree granting post-secondary institution in Canada. University transfer programs are acceptable.

 

President's International Scholar Award

Award: $3,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student, maintain a residence outside of New York and international student status, maintain normal academic progress, live in a university residence hall, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The Director of International Education will choose the award recipients based on their admissions application and transcript.

 

Arizona Excellence Award

Award: $10,000, Deadline: Open

Non-Arizona resident full-time undergrad student

 

Provincial Award

Award: -, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester, and come from a Canadian province other than Manitoba or Saskatchewan.

 

General Scholarships

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 29

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who attended high-school in a province other than Ontario and has a minimum 2.5 high school GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in a full-time, four-year undergraduate program.

 

Alberta Blue Cross 50th Anniversary Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must be a resident of Alberta. Applicant must be an undergraduate nursing degree student who has achieved the highest grade average on two 3 credit courses.

 

Laurence Decore Award for Student Leadership

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be Alberta residents who are enrolled in a minimum of three courses at a designated Alberta post-secondary institution. Involvement in student government and in extracurricular activities are required.

 

Louise McKinney Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: September 1

Applicant must be a resident of Alberta planning to attend a post-secondary school in Alberta.
