Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is not a resident of Delaware. Selection based upon above average academic achievement.

 

Out of State Access Grant

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Provost Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Regional Provost Scholarship

Award: $9,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be a New England regional or Proximity resident. Minimum 3.75 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32) required.

 

Regional Academic Council Scholarship

Applicant must be a New England Regional or Proximity resident. Minimum 3.5 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27) required.

 

Believe and Achieve Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a high school senior or GED recipient who plans to enroll as a full-time undergraduate at a two- or four-year college or university or vocational-technical school. Minimum 3.0 GPA and residence within a 30-mile radius of a Cumberland Farms retail location required. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

 

Saab Family Foundation Scholarships

Applicant must be seeking to pursue a private high school education or higher education in the pursuit of a two- or four-year undergraduate degree. Selection based upon academic meet and/or financial need. Minimum 2.75 GPA and active pursuit of a private high school or college/university education are required. Award is reserved for applicants from or studying in New England.

Applicant must be a current or future college student/graduate with outstanding loans in any area of study. BASAA Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a U.S. college/university located in the Boston Area Study Abroad Association (BASAA) area; Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Connecticut. Must be planning to study abroad for at least four weeks.

 

Aurand Harris Memorial Playwriting Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicants must live in New England and/or be members of NETC and submit a full-length play written for a young audience. The play must not have been previously published, previously produced by a professional company or submitted to the Harris competition. Students may only submit one play. There is a $20 processing fee.

 

Vermont Oratorical Contest

Award: $18,000, Deadline: Open

Applicants must be high school students under the age of 20 who are U.S. citizens or legal residents and residents of the state. Students first give an oration within their state and winners compete at the national level. The oration must be related to the Constitution of the United States focusing on the duties and obligations citizens have to the government. It must be in English and be between eight and ten minutes. There is also an assigned topic which is posted on the website, and it should be between three and five minutes.

 

Buddy Pelletier Surfing Foundation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicants must be members of the East Coast surfing community. Rising high school seniors, current undergraduate college students and returning students may apply regardless of age. Two letters of recommendation and a 500-word essay are required. Previous applicants and winners may reapply each year.

 

Clauder Competition Prize

Award: $3,000, Deadline: Open

Applicants must live or attend school in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont. This requirement may be waived for playwrights who have previously lived in New England and produce material relevant to the area. They must submit a full-length play that is an original work and has not been produced or published.

 

FMC Skaters Scholarship

Applicants must be a New England resident, a senior in high school and skate at an FMC arena. Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service and accomplishments and leadership on the ice.

 

Kent Nutrition Group Inc. FFA Scholarship

Applicants must be working toward a degree in one of the following fields: animal science, animal nutrition, dairy science, poultry science, equine/equestrian science, agriculture, agricultural science, agricultural business management, economics, finance or marketing and sales. Mabel Mayforth Scholarship

Applicants must be Vermont residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must major horticulture, landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. They must be full-time students at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Previous winners may reapply.

 

Martin Devlin Scholarship

Applicants must be Vermont residents and must be currently enrolled in a physician assistant program in Vermont or must be recent graduates of such a program who have outstanding student loans and are working or intending to work in Vermont. Previous winners of this scholarship are ineligible. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Thomas E. Desjardins Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be civil engineering undergraduates or graduate students who are enrolled at an accredited postsecondary institution in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont. They must demonstrate an interest in transportation engineering through their coursework or extracurricular activities. Selection is based on academic merit, character and extracurricular activities.

 

NACE Eastern Area Scholarship

Applicants must be a permanent resident of the United States and be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate in an accredited engineering or physical science degree program at a two or four-year college or university. NACA Mid Atlantic Higher Education Research Scholarship

Applicants must be conducting research that will add to the college student personnel knowledge base including projects that focus on campus activities, problems faced by student affairs practitioners and challenges of higher education as they relate to campus activities. High school students are not eligible.

 

Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund
