Amigo Scholarship

Award: $14,815, Deadline: February 1 (fall); October 1 (spring)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA with minimum composite ACT score of 23 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070) or have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 26 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1170). Applicant must not be from New Mexico.

 

UA Scholar

University President's Club Non-Resident Scholarship

Applicant must be a non-resident high school senior who will be an entering freshman. Selection will be based upon GPA and ACT/SAT scores, as well as proven leadership abilities, activities, and accomplishments.

MGMA Midwest Section Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must reside in a Midwest section state and submit a letter stating career goals and objectives, a resume showing employment history with a brief narrative describing specific employment responsibilities in the health care field, and three letters of recommendation. Reference letters should address performance, character, potential to succeed, and need for scholarship support. Send for an application with a self-addressed, stamped, business-size envelope.

 

Scholarship for New Nebraskans

Out-of-State Collegiate Scholar

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum composite ACT score between 28 and 29 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1250-1320).

 

Out-of-State Presidential Scholar

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and minimum composite ACT score between 32 and 36 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1400 and 1600).

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1210 and 1240).

Fred R. McDaniel Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have at least a general class amateur radio license and be attending school in the FCC Fifth Call District (Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas). Preference is given to residents of Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas who have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Brewer and Wilson Scholarships

Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Grand Rapids Combined Theatre Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate ability, talent, and dedication to the theatre arts, be pursuing an education in theatre arts, and have worked in the Grand Rapids, Mich.. area community theatre. Preference is given to theatre arts majors. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Grand Rapids Foundation Local Scholarship

Lavina Laible Scholarship

Applicant must be a woman who is transferring to the U of Michigan for her junior year, and be a resident of Kent County, Mich. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Gladys A. Snauble Scholarship

Mildred E. Troske Music Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time student at an accredited institution, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have been a resident of Kent County, Mich. for at least five years. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Donald M. Wells Scholarship

Applicant must have been a resident of Kent County, MI who is a graduate of Central High School in Grand Rapids and is pursuing undergraduate studies at Grand Rapids Community College, University of Michigan, or the University of Chicago. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need required. Selection based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Walter C. Winchester Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be graduating from Central High School, City High School, Ottawa Hills High School, or Union High School, with a minimum 3.3 GPA. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

McNair Scholars Award

Applicant must be from outside South Carolina. Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership, and character.

 

Mt. Garfield Non-Resident Scholarship
