Louis M. Dexter Memorial Scholarship

Fort Lewis Merit Scholarship for Non-Colorado Students

International Student Scholarship

Applicant must be a Hispanic student considered a non-resident of Arizona who has completed 12 or more College credits, with at least nine units in ESL. A 350- to 500-word letter stating reasons for deserving scholarship is required.

 

Academic Community Enrichment Scholarship (ACE)

Award: $7,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an out-of-state United States resident who satisfies at least two of the following criteria: ranks at least in the top 10% of their high school class; is a member of the National Honor Society; or has a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Applicants who do not meet that criteria, but possess significant leadership and involvement may also be considered.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who is not a resident of Utah, and has outstanding leadership abilities, activities, and achievements.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Diversity Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a transfer student who is not a resident of Utah. Application, recommendation, and online essay in which applicant illustrates their geographic, ethnic and/or cultural background, and how it will contribute to an educationally diverse experience for students at the University, are required to be submitted.

 

Non-Resident Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering freshman who is not a resident of Utah, and is a National Merit Finalist.

 

Alumni Association Non-Resident Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen

Award: $5,800, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a current high school senior who is not a resident of Utah, but who's parent or grandparent is an University of Utah graduate. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and have been actively involved in service to their high school and/or community. Official transcript, a one-page essay, and letter of recommendation are required to be submitted.

 

Academic Excellence Level 2 Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshmen who is not a resident of West Virginia.

 

University Merit - Non-Resident Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a non-resident student who is named as a finalist by the National Merit Corporation and who designates West Virginia University as their school of first choice by the National Merit Corporation's deadline date.

 

Michigan Tuition Grant

Award: $1,524, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a student at an independent non-profit degree-granting college or university in Michigan.

 

Children of Veterans Tuition Grant

Award: $2,800, Deadline: March 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a child older than 16 and less than 26 years of age who is the natural or adopted child of a Michigan veteran. The veteran must have been a legal resident of Michigan immediately before entering the military service and must not later have resided outside of Michigan for more than two years; or the veteran must have established legal residency in Michigan after entering the military service.

 

WMU First Step Scholars Program

Applicant must be an undergraduate student entering the university in the fall or spring and have graduated from a Michigan high school or is transferring to the university from a Michigan community college. Applicant must be an undocumented Michigan resident, or the child of an undocumented resident who paid state taxes for the last two consecutive years. Award is designed to help undocumented residents of Michigan earn a bachelors degree.

 

Dakota Pequeno Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 27

Applicant must be a high school senior or high school graduate between the ages of 17 and 21 who is a Michigan resident and has been diagnosed with epilepsy/seizure disorder. Proof of acceptance to a post-secondary academic or vocational program, completed application with two letters of recommendation (one must be from an educator), and a short essay regarding epilepsy are required to be submitted.

 

Travel Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a full-time, dependent student from the United States or Canada (excluding Minnesota and western Wisconsin).

 

President's Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: Early April

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Michigan for at least two semesters with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant have graduated from a Downriver high school.

 

HSF/Wells Fargo Scholarship Program

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage and is a current sophomore enrolled full-time with a minimum 3.0 GPA at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected recipient must be enrolled as a junior during the award year. FAFSA is required. Program will be open as of fall 2009.

 

Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who will graduate high school on the United States mainland. Information provided on the admissions application, along with a high school transcript will determine criteria and eligibility of the award.

Dean's Scholarship

Applicant must be a non-resident freshmen student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and minimum 3.75 GPA.

 

Provost's Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering non-resident freshman student who has a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (minimum composite ACT score of 25) and a high school GPA between 3.5 and 3.74.

 

Out of State Award

Applicant must be a United States resident who is living outside of New York State and who visits the college before January 31st of their senior year.

 

Midwest Student Exchange Program
