Admissions Academic Scholarship - Non-Resident

Award: $3,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must not be a Florida resident.

 

Entering Montana Resident Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an entering freshman with a minimum 3.4 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 25 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1700). Transfer applicants must have a minimum 3.4 GPA and 12 earned college credits. ACT/SAT test scores are not applicable for transfer students. Essay, resume of activities, letter of recommendation, and transcript are required to be submitted.

 

Out of State Fee Waiver

Award: -, Deadline: Fall

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200, and be an incoming freshman student or transfer student.

 

RMCMI Scholarship

Award: $2,750, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student and be a resident of one of the RMCMI member states: Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming.

 

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a Native American with proof of tribal enrollment or a certificate of Indian blood, plan to attend a four-year, accredited educational institution full time, and live in one of the states served by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corp. and its affiliated companies.

 

Legacy of Hope

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a current high school graduate who has survived childhood cancer and is now residing in Colorado or Montana.

 

Fisher Communications, Inc. Minority Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be involved in broadcasting, broadcast technology, marketing, or journalism courses. Applicants must be of non-white origin and must be at least a sophomore (by fall term of scholarship year) enrolled in the following: a broadcast, broadcast technology, marketing, or journalism curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree at an accredited four-year college or university. A broadcast curriculum at an accredited community college, transferable to such a four-year baccalaureate degree program. A broadcast curriculum at an accredited vocational-technical school. If you are a permanent resident of the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana tuition may be applied to an in-state or out-of-state school. If you are not a permanent resident of the above-mentioned states, tuition must be applied to a school in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana.

 

Sophia Kampher Scholarship

Award: $14,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a female graduate of a Montana high school. Preference is given to liberal arts majors.

 

Back to School Nursing Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31; April 30; July 31; October 31

Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States who is at least 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and who plans to enroll in a previously unattended institution in the United States (award not open to residents in Florida, New York, Rhode Island or other states/territories). Applicant must be a nursing student. Response to why the applicant decided to pursue a nursing career is required.

 

Beau Mitchell Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant should preferably be a non-resident student who is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America with strong moral character and an orientation toward the outdoors. Financial need required.

 

Heisey Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must demonstrate financial need and have graduated from one of 31 designated high schools in Montana.

 

Chamberlain Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a woman, who is a full-time student, a resident of Montana, and is able to demonstrate financial need.

 

Katharine L. Morningstar Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a Montana resident and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference to Madison County, MT high school graduates.

 

Nonresident Incentive Tuition Waiver

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a nonresident of Oklahoma, have high GPA and ACT scores, and be the child or grandchild of OSU alumni/ae.

 

Sun Devil Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a high school senior enrolling for the fall semester as a full-time student. Applicant will be automatically considered for the award once they have been admitted to the university.

 

Tuition Exemption Scholarship for Nonresidents

Award: $9,400, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a resident of a state other than Louisiana, have high standardized test scores, and an excellent academic record, especially in English and math.

Amigo Scholarship

Award: $14,815, Deadline: February 1 (fall); October 1 (spring)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA with minimum composite ACT score of 23 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070) or have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 26 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1170). Applicant must not be from New Mexico.

Applicant must be a non-resident high school senior who will be an entering freshman. Selection will be based upon GPA and ACT/SAT scores, as well as proven leadership abilities, activities, and accomplishments.

MGMA Western Section Scholarship

Applicant must be a MGMA Western section member for two years. Applicant must submit a letter stating goals and objectives, a resume showing employment history with a brief narrative describing specific employment responsibilities in the health care field, and three letters of recommendation. Reference letters should address performance, character, potential to succeed, and need for scholarship support. Send for an application with a self-addressed, stamped, business-size envelope.
