SanDisk Scholars Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a legal U.S. Citizen who is a high school senior, college freshmen, or college sophomore pursuing a career in computer science or engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Heinlein Society Scholarship Program

Award: $1,250, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college. One scholarship awarded to a woman majoring in engineering, math/physical sciences (physics/chemistry). Two scholarships awarded to male or female students majoring in science fiction as literature. Students must submit a 500-1,000 word essay on one of the topics listed on the website.

 

MillerCoors Engineering and Science Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen of hispanic descent who is a junior or senior college student pursuing a degree in engineering at a partnering university (list of partnering universities on sponsor's website). Minimum 3.0 GPA, full-time enrollment status, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

MillerCoors Chicagoland Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen of hispanic descent who is a junior or senior college student at a Chicago university (preference given to University of Illinois at Chicago, DePaul University, Northeastern Illinois University, or Loyola University Chicago). Minimum 3.0 GPA, full-time enrollment status, and two letters of recommendation required. Preference given to business, computer science, biochemisty, and engineering majors.

 

MillerCoors Colorado Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen of hispanic descent who is a junior or senior college student at a Colorado partnering university (list of partnering universities on sponsor's website). Minimum 3.0 GPA, full-time enrollment status, and two letters of recommendation required. Preference given to business, computer science, biochemistry, and engineering majors.

 

Adelante/Ford Motor Company Future Leaders Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: May 30

Applicant be a U.S. citizen of hispanic descent who has completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework and attended a San Antonio area high school (50 mile radius) and is majoring in mathematics, science, engineering, or technology. Minimum 2.75 GPA, full-time enrollment status, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, Indonesia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chile, Peru, Canada, Mexico or Australia who is a full-time undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior that is majoring in mining engineering, metallurgical engineering, or geology. Questionnaire, personal essay, and unofficial transcript required. Applicant must attend one of the following institutions: Arizona State University, Colorado School of Mines, Eastern Arizona College, Michigan Technological University, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Montana Tech of the University of Montana, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, New Mexico State University, Northern Arizona University, Pima Community College, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, University of Arizona, University of Texas at El Paso, University of Utah, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, or Yavapai Community College.

 

The Mikkelson Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be graduating from a Colorado high school and pursuing a degree in engineering, math, or science at an accredited college/university. Must have minimum 3.7 GPA, 1800 SAT score, and 28 ACT score. Transcript, three recommendations, and personal essay required.

 

Online Associate's Degree Scholarship

Applicant must be pursuing an online associates degree from an accredited online program. Selection based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

 

Online Master's Degree Scholarship

Joseph A. Levendusky Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior student who is studying chemical or mechanical engineering seeking a career in the field of water technology. Must be enrolled in an accredited institution in the U.S.

 

Washington NASA Space Grant Community College Transfer Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Washington state who is pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics and will be transferring to the University of Washington.

 

Thermaxx Jackets Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate engineering or pre-engineering student pursuing a B.S. degree or trade school student in a course of study for the HVAC&R profession. Minimum 2.5 GPA and short essay regarding the following question required: What inspired you to become an engineer or HVAC&R professional?

 

USA to Australia Fellowship

Award: $40,000, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must be a graduate student or above who will be attending an Australian educational institution majoring in engineering, medicine, sustainability, or technology. Three essays, three letters of reference, a proposed budget, transcripts, and letter of acceptance to an Australian University required. Must be a U.S. citizen and full-time student.

 

Betsy Y. Justus Scholarship

Applicant must be a female college freshman, re-entry, or transfer student who is a North Carolina resident enrolled at an accredited institution in North Carolina. Must be a STEM major with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Essay, transcripts, proof of acceptance, and letter of recommendation required.

 

Breakthrough Technologies Scholarship

Applicant must be a current junior or senior at an accredited university in the United States pursuing a degree in engineering or material sciences. Minimum 2.75 GPA and essay required.

 

Olin E. Teague Memorial Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: October 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a senior at an accredited U.S. high school pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM). Transcripts, one letter of recommendation, statement of intent, and research paper required.

 

Science Student Grant

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and fourth year undergraduate student with a disability who has been accepted into a graduate school pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: mathematics, science, medicine, engineering, or computer science. Essay, proof of citizenship, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

BMO Capital Markets Lime Connect Equity Through Education Scholarship

Edison Scholars Program

Applicant must be a high school senior who is majoring in chemistry, computer science, engineering, information systems, materials science, math, or physics. Minimum 2.8 GPA required. Financial need must be demonstrated. Preference given to first-generation college students who have overcome a significant obstacle or challenge.

 

North Dakota Petroleum Council Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student majoring in geology, earth science, geological engineering, petroleum engineering, energy economics and finance, process plant technology, energy management, petroleum production, mechanical maintenance, water and wastewater, or instrumentation and control at a North Dakota college/university, or have work/internship experience in the oil and gas industry. Minimum 3.0 GPA, college transcripts, letter of reference, and one-page essay required.
