Out of State Award

Applicant must be a United States resident who is living outside of New York State and who visits the college before January 31st of their senior year.

 

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Award: -, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a resident of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, or North Dakota. Minimum 3.4 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 25) required. Applicant must be majoring in one of the majors listed on sponsor's application page.

 

Jayhawk Generations Scholarship

Award: $12,154, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be an admitted first-time, non-resident freshman student whose parent, step-parent, legal guardian, grandparent, step-grandparent, or great-grandparent earned a degree at the university. Minimum 3.5 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 24) required.

Applicant must be a full-time student and one of the following: a United States citizen who is a non-Florida resident living in the United States or a United States territory or an eligible non-citizen (permanent resident).

 

Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must work in the Midwest region of the United States. Award will allow recipient to choose a curriculum of choice from the John T. Riordan School for Professional Development.

 

Anderson Niskanen Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior at a Duluth public high school who is in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must plan to attend the University of Minnesota - Duluth or the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. FAFSA required.

 

William E. Barto Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior from a Duluth/Superior public/private high school who is in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must be planning to attend the University of Minnesota - Duluth or the University of Wisconsin - Superior, pursuing a degree in either arts or visual arts. FAFSA is required.

 

Bernard B. & Mary L. Brusin Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a graduating senior from St. Louis County who is in the top quarter of their graduating class. FAFSA is required.

 

Allen Butler Minority Law Enforcement Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Duluth public school with three years residency. Applicant must plan to pursue law enforcement at any college or university. Minimum 2.0 GPA and FAFSA required.

 

Duluth Central High School Alumni Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior who has attended Central High School for more than two years and who plans to enroll one of the following colleges/universities: The College of St. Scholastica, the University of Minnesota - Duluth, the University of Wisconsin - Superior, Lake Superior College, or Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. FAFSA is required.

 

Duluth Central Sports Association Legacy Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a high school senior varsity athlete who has attended Duluth Central High School for a minimum of two years. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Peter M. Gargano Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior who is the child of an Ulland Brothers employee. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required.

 

Jeanne H. Hemmingway Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior who is a resident of St. Louis, Lake, or Cook Counties. Applicant must plan to enroll at the University of Minnesota - Duluth. Financial need is required.

 

Hubert A. Nelson Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Duluth/Superior public/private high school who ranks in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must be planning to attend the University of Minnesota - Duluth or the University of Wisconsin - Superior and major in business or accounting.

 

Amelia and Emanuel Nessell Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Duluth public/private high school who ranks in the top quarter of their graduating class.

 

Jack & Mary Roe Memorial Scholarship

Award: $4,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Duluth, Proctor, or Hermantown public high school who ranks in the top fifth of their graduating class. Applicant must be planning to attend a four-year college or university and major in engineering.

 

Lawrence E. & Mabel J. Rudberg Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior at a Duluth public/private high school who is in the top quarter of their graduating class. Financial need is required.

 

Ulland Brothers, Inc. Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Applicant must be the child of an Ulland Brothers employee.

 

Robert B. and Sophia Whiteside Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior at a Duluth public/private high school who is in the top tenth of their graduating class.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Mid-State Chapter of the Minnesota Society of CPA's Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman who is majoring in accounting. Applicant must be from one of the following cities in Minnesota: Detroit lakes, Bemidji, Fergus Falls, Alexandria Brainerd, Theif River Falls, Hutchinson, or Litchfield.
