Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mancelona High School who will pursue a degree in education.

Elizabeth E. Carlson Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Putnam City Public School District high school pursuing a degree in education. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Virgil and Pauline Jackson Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be enrolled at Langston University majoring in education. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Acker Family Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Norwayne High School who attended Burbank or Sterling Elementary and will pursue post-secondary studies in education or political science.

Shreve Presbyterian Church Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Triway High School who will pursue post-secondary studies in the field of education full-time. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

Edgar G. Garvin Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wayne County high school who will attend Ohio University and major in education. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

John A. Tooley Scholarship for Developmental Disabilities

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a resident of Wayne County who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution pursuing a field of study in developmental disabilities or special education.

Robert H. and Sara C. Moore Memorial Scholarship

Award: $350, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wooster High School who will major in education. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Stella & William Moran Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from St. Mary's High School who will major in education, nursing or theology.

Teacher Education Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is majoring in education.

Fehr, Clara & Eilert Family Endowed Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be an entering freshman who is pursuing a degree in education. Minimum 3.0 GPA and ability to demonstrate high academic potential, strong leadership, and community involvement required.

Lemanski Family Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be an undergraduate student from Chicopee, MA, who is majoring in government, public health, nursing, education, or political science. Scholarship, need, and public service may be considered. FAFSA required.

KLL Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 10

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is attending a two- or four-year college or university with an interest in education, arts, environment, math, or science. Applicant must have lost the life of at least one parent to cancer before the age of 22. Financial need and involvement in the community, church, school, or other non-curricular activity are required.

Thomas William Bennett Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Palm Beach or Martin County, FL high school who will major in education. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Professional Diversity Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be an incoming, full-time freshman or transfer student who is a U.S. citizen with a diverse ethnic or racial background. Minimum 2.75 GPA and financial need are required. Preference will be given to applicants declaring a nursing, education, social work, or dietetics major upon registering at the university.

Arne Engebretsen Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of Wisconsin who is a high school senior looking to pursue a degree in mathematics with with the goal of teaching at the K-12 level.

Dr. Hugh and Madge Gleaton Scholarship Fund

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 3

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Henderson County public school who is planning to attend a four-year accredited university within the University of North Carolina System. A successful applicant is a student who ranks in the top 15% of their secondary school class and has financial need. Preference will be given to a student who is pursuing a degree in the arts, education, engineering, the sciences, or medicine.

H. Louise Eaton Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 3

Applicant must be a graduate of a public high school in Henderson County who plans to pursue an education in preparation for teaching in secondary schools. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need are required.

Maude and harvey Goehring Scholarship

Award: $1,250, Deadline: March 3

Applicant must be a graduate of any Henderson County high school who plans to pursue a degree to teach physical science or mathematics in public secondary schools. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required.

George F. and Asha W. McMillan Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 3

Applicant must be a graduating senior or graduate of a high school in Henderson County who is pursuing or plans to pursue a degree in Christian education or related studies. Minimum 2.0 GPA and financial need are required.

The Edith M. Allen Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be an African-American college student pursuing a degree in education, social work, medicine, or other health professions. Must be enrolled at a United Methodist college/university with at least B+ average and be an active member of the United Methodist Church for at least three years.

The Elvina Jane Owen Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be an active full member of the United Methodist Church for at least one year who is a college student pursuing a degree in education. Minimum 2.85 GPA and full-time enrollment status required. Preference given to students in the Jonestown District of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference.

NDS/DMI Education & Communication Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate student pursuing a degree in dairy industry education or communication at a four-year college/university. Minimum 2.5 GPA, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation required.

Master's Degree Scholarship in Education and Teaching

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be pursuing a master's degree in education and teaching. Selection is based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

Online Associate's Degree Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be pursuing an online associates degree from an accredited online program. Selection based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

Online Master's Degree Scholarship

King-Chavez-Parks Future Faculty Fellowship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is admitted to a master's or doctoral program at the University of Michigan and is in good academic standing. Must be a resident of the state of Michigan and planning and able to teach in postsecondary education. Cannot be currently in default status on any guaranteed student loan and/or a KCP loan. Personal statement, budget statement, three letters of recommendation, and current curriculum vitae (c.v.) required.
