Robert R. Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduate from a Phelps County high school who will enroll at a college or university in Nebraska full-time pursuing an education in an agricultural related field. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Roger D. Olson Agricultural Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a resident or graduate of a Phelps County high school who will enroll in a minimum two-year program in agriculture full-time.

 

Dr. Marvin Monson Memorial / Holdrege Young Farmers Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Holdrege High School who will pursue a two-or four-year degree in the field of agriculture full-time.

 

M.J. Nelson Science Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Holdrege or Loomis High School in Nebraska who will enroll full-time at a post-secondary institution.

 

George R. Mitchell VFW Post #1365 Agriculture Scholarship

Award: $350, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Holdrege High School who will pursue a degree in agriculture full-time.

 

Frank Weigel Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue post-secondary education at a two- or four-year accredited institution in a science-related field.

 

Gewecke Memorial Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Wood River Rural High School pursuing an agricultural, automotive or technology field of study.

 

Verna Kaucher Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Davenport West or North High School who will enroll full-time in a post-secondary institution.

 

North Adams Vocational Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: February 7

Applicant must be a graduating senior from North Adams High School who will attend an accredited two-year college.

 

Derryl Lehman Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 7

Applicant must be a graduating senior from South Adams High School who will major in an agriculture-related field.

 

Spicer Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Stuttgart, AR high school who will major in agriculture or christian ministry.

 

Thornapple Garden Club "Walk Gently on this Good Earth" Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a resident of Barry County who will pursue a two- or four-year degree in agricultural science, conservation, floriculture, horticulture, landscape design, or a related field. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Miami County Master Gardner's Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: March 25

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Miami County, OH high school who will major in agriculture, conservation, environmental science, horticulture or natural resources.

 

Max H. Duff Family Memorial Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 25

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Miami East High School who was a member of the Future Farmers of America and will pursue a degree in an agriculture-related field at a two- or four-year college or university.

 

Woodie McDowell Agriculture/Natural Resources Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 25

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Miami East High School who will pursue a degree in the field of agriculture or natural resources.

 

Danny Dieckmann Scholarship

Award: $400, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from North Decatur High School who will pursue a degree in agriculture, farming or a related field.

 

William B. Blank DACA Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Somerset, Wicomico or Worcester County, MD high school who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of agriculture.

 

OSU Agricultural Education Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a graduate from an Oklahoma High School majoring in agriculture at Oklahoma State University. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Joe B. Smith Memorial Class of 1942 Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Stratford High school who will pursue post-secondary education in agriculture.

 

Arden and Clarice Shisler Nationwide Insurance Scholarship for Agriculture

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Dalton High School who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution majoring in an agriculture-related field. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Doug Wells Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Triway High School who will major in agriculture.

 

John W. Landis Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wayne County high school who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, home and farm economic, horticulture or solid and water conservation full-time. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Clinton E. Missler Agri-Scholarship

Award: $200, Deadline: April 16

Applicant must be a resident of Wayne County who will pursue post-secondary education in an agriculture-related field. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Dragseth, Allan & Judy Scholarship

Award: $700, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be a freshman student who is pursuing a degree in agriculture. Applicant must have graduated in the upper half of their graduating class and be able to demonstrate leadership and community involvement.

 

Minn-Dak Growers Association Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be a junior who is a resident of Minnesota or North Dakota who is majoring in agriculture. Financial need is required.

 

Harris A. Peterson Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior student who is a resident of North Dakota or Minnesota and is majoring in agriculture.

 

Alton & Oltilda Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $800, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be a female student majoring in agriculture; preference will be given to an agronomy major. Demonstration of academic performance, scholastic aptitude, evidence of outstanding leadership, creativity, and community involvement required. Minimum 3.0 GPA must be maintained.

 

Brandon Freberg Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must have graduated in the upper half of their graduating class who demonstrates community involvement. Preference given to applicants enrolled in the Department of Agriculture.

 

Carl & Lorraine Hord Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be a student from a high school in Kittson County who is pursuing a degree in agriculture. Selection based upon academic accomplishments and leadership potential. High school rank, GPA, and ACT scores will also be considered.

 

Don Keith Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)

Applicant must be pursuing a degree in agriculture and actively participating in student government or extra-curricular activities. Applicant must demonstrate an interest in a career in agriculture and show promise of developing leadership ability. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.
