Applicants must be working toward four-year degrees in specific areas of agriculture including public service and administration, agribusiness management, range/soil science, public communications, plant or animal breeding and genetics, education, plant pathology, journalism, technology, extension, mechanization, public relations, finance, economics, sales, marketing or engineering. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and residents of Ohio. They must be rising juniors or seniors enrolled full-time in an ABET-accredited engineering program that leads to the bachelor of science or its equivalent. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4-point scale. Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvements and financial need.

 

Garden Club of Ohio Inc. Scholarships

Anthony Munoz Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be high school seniors who reside in the counties specified by the foundation and plan to attend college in Kentucky, Indiana or Ohio. Students must have a minimum ACT composite score of 18 or at least a 2.5 GPA and must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and financial need.

 

AAS Scholarship

Applicants must be employed at an Ohio child care center that has been given a one-, two- or three-star rating through the Step Up to Quality initiative. They must have held their position at the center for at least a year and must work there for 30 or more hours per week. They must earn less than $15 per hour and be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an associate's degree program in early childhood education. Scholarship recipients must agree to stay with the program for at least one year after winning the award. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Jeffrey and Regina Taussig Ohio Honors Scholarship

Applicants must be freshmen with a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and reside in Ohio. Students must have participated in considerable co-curricular activities. Applicants must major in one of the following areas: biochemistry, biology, biology education, chemistry, chemistry education, computer science, engineering, environmental science, forensic chemistry or science, marine biology, mathematics, math education, pre-dental, pre-medical or pre-veterinary.

 

Transfer Times

Applicants must be current students enrolled in a two-year institution in the Transfer Times distribution area of Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Students must be transferring to a four-year institution that advertises in the Transfer Times.
