Applicant must be a resident of Hall County, NE pursuing a degree in a medical field. Preference given to those entering into a graduate field of study.

Alecia Lorraine Holst Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Thornapple Kellogg high school who will pursue a degree in the medical field. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Dr. Wayne and Marie Finkbeiner Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Thornapple Kellogg high school who will pursue a two- or four-year degree in the field of medicine. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Zelma Gray Medical School Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a resident of Guernsey County, OH who will enroll in an accredited medical school or college in the United States.

 

Esther J. and Lewis W. Whiting Scholarship

Award: $8,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be a graduate of Springfield Central High School currently pursuing a degree in medicine or natural science.

 

Christian Care Retirement Community Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wells County, IN high school who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of food preparation, medicine, recreational therapy or social services.

 

Endo Pharmaceuticals Scholarship Fund

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be the child of an employee of Endo Pharmaceuticals in good standing who will major in a health or pharmaceutical-related field and is 24 years of age or younger.

 

Knetzer-Urwin Family Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Dalton High School who will enroll full-time in health services, medicine or nursing.

 

Julie and David Mennes Healthcare Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wayne County high school who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution majoring in a health or medical profession full-time.

 

Cheryl and James Frank Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wooster High School who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of medicine.

 

Eric and Jaimie Garrett Scholarship Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a Steilacoom High School senior who plans to attend an accredited post-secondary institution to study math, science, or a medical-related field. Selection based upon academic merit and financial need.

 

Tim Turner Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Portage County high school who is entering the medical field. Minimum 2.5 GPA, two references, and essay are required.

 

AvaCare Mdical Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be at least 13 years of age, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. citizen. Students must be studying or planning on studying a medicine related field. Students must be at least a high school senior. AvaCare Medical offers an annual scholarship for an inspiring act of kindness. Selection is based on judge scores as well as public votes. Submission may be in the form of a blog post, an image or a short video clip. Finalists are selected based on content, creativity and quality of work.

 

Cables and Sensors Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: November 15

Applicants should be currently enrolled in degree programs in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare. Students must be a legal residents of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa.

 

Deloris Carter Hampton Scholarship

Award: $3,250, Deadline: January 13

Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and be high school seniors or college or graduate students (community college, four-year public or private college or university, certificate program, vocational/technical/trade programs, law school, medical/dental/veterinary school or graduate education). Students must be members of the LGBTQ and allied community and display leadership either within the LGBTQ community or within their field of study and demonstrate financial need. Students with additional barriers to education as well as those who are economically, racially, socially, geographically or politically disenfranchised will be given consideration as well. Students must be pursuing a degree in education, women?s health, or dance.

Applicants must enrolled in an accredited college or university for the upcoming year. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 and plan to pursue education in engineering, physics, medicine, biology or natural or applied sciences.
