Applicant must use grant to fund projects that demonstrate a balance between innovative technological advancements and preservation of the environment.

 

William J. Adams, Jr. and Marijane E. Adams Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must have a declared major in biological or agricultural engineering accredited by ABET or CEAB in the United States or Canada and have completed at least one year of undergraduate study and have at least one year of undergraduate study remaining from the time of application. Applicant must have a special interest in agricultural machinery product design and development. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need are required.

 

ASABE Foundation Engineering Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon academic achievement and financial need.

 

MSPE Hancore-Amundson Michigan St U Biosystems Engineering Scholarship for Freshmen Biosystem Engineers

Award: $1,000, Deadline: First Monday in January

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Michigan resident, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 26, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation. Selection is based upon academic record, especially in math and science courses, and upon extracurricular activities, essay, recommendations, and evidence of leadership, character, and self-reliance.

 

Biological Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

Mather-Frank Fellowship

Applicant must be a full-time, bioengineering, doctoral student.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Summer Research Scholarship

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Portland Post Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Health Research and Educational Trust Health Career Scholarships

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicants must be New Jersey residents. They must be undergraduate juniors, undergraduate seniors or graduate students enrolled in a nursing, allied health professions, healthcare administration or hospital administration degree program. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on the quality of the personal essay submitted as part of the application.

 

AvaCare Mdical Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be at least 13 years of age, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. citizen. Students must be studying or planning on studying a medicine related field. Students must be at least a high school senior. AvaCare Medical offers an annual scholarship for an inspiring act of kindness. Selection is based on judge scores as well as public votes. Submission may be in the form of a blog post, an image or a short video clip. Finalists are selected based on content, creativity and quality of work.
