Applicant must be sponsored by a DEED member utility; Technical Design Project (TDP) applicants will be assigned to a sponsor. Application and official transcript required. Maximum of 10 awards granted for Research and Internship; 10 awards for Educational Scholars; and at least one award for Technical Design Projects.

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Applicant must be a full-time first-year student who had a GPA of 2.0 or better in school and is seeking an AA degree in math, an AS degree in computer science, an AAS degree in electronics technology or an AS degree in physics. Non-traditional students who have postponed their education while raising a family or working are also eligible to apply.
