Applicant must be writing a dissertation on a topic concerning women or on women's/children's health.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen currently enrolled as a full-time student and have the endorsement of the State Garden Club from the state in which he or she is a permanent resident. Official transcripts, personal statement, three letters of recommendation, financial aid form, and list of extracurricular activity involvement/honors received must be submitted. Applicant must be a license R.N. from a Rhode Island seeking a baccalaureate or graduate nursing degree. Preference will be given to students intending to practice nursing in Rhode Island.

Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.
