SSPI Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: December 1

Selection based on academic and leadership achievement, commitment to pursue education and career opportunities in the industry, potential for creative future contribution to the industry, creative research submission, and a personal statement.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 12

Applicant must have minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT combined score of 1100. Selection is based upon academic achievement, community service, extracurricular activities, and essay. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency status.

 

AWC Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a Washington resident attending a Washington four-year school. Selection is based upon financial need and academic achievement.

 

O. S. Braunstein Student Prize Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: n/a

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited university/institution with a 2015 or later graduation date. An original research paper on a topic pertaining to the conference theme and topic(s) is required. The paper must be authored by a single student or co-authored with fellow students. Papers with faculty members as co-authors are ineligible. Recipient must present the winning paper at PTC's annual conference and allow the paper to be published on the PTC website and as part of the conference proceedings (CD/DVD).

 

West Virginia Broadcasters Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be West Virginia resident and an employee or family member of an employee of a station that is a member of the West Virginia Broadcasters Association. First priority given to applicants in the broadcast field; second to applicants who demonstrate financial need. GPA and any unusual circumstances are also considered.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.
