Creative and Research Fellowship

Applicant must need financial assistance to complete a work of art that is already in progress or to publish a manuscript of study which has been completed. Applications are considered for assistance with projects in humanities, physical or natural sciences, social sciences, and education. Not more than two grants will be made annually in any category.

Minoru Yasui Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a member of JACL. Selection is based upon personal statement, letters of recommendation, transcripts, work experience, and community involvement. Preference is given to applicants interested in human and civil rights.

 

Ralph and Elva Harmon Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in the College of Arts and Letters or the College of Humanities and Public Affairs. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

 

ACLS/New York Public Library Fellowship

Award: $65,000, Deadline: September 28

Applicant must identify specific resources and benefits to be gained from affiliation with the Center for Scholars and Writers. Applicant must be selected by both ACLS Committee and the New York Public Library. Applications must be submitted through the ACLS Online Fellowship Application system (OFA). Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research in East European Studies

Rector's Scholarship

Applicant must be a bilingual Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 92 admission average including six OACs or equivalent, and must meet extracurricular or community excellence criteria. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Andrew Melon Fellowship

NALE Scholarship

Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, Child Welfare, and Juvenile Justice Workforce Tuition Assistance Program

Applicant must be Maryland resident enrolled at a two- or four-year Maryland college or university as a full-time student. Applicant must enroll in a human services degree program. Award is not based on need.

 

DOE Office of Science Graduate Fellowship Program

Applicant must be an outstanding student pursuing graduate training in basic research areas of physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computer/computational sciences, or environmental sciences relevant to the Office of Science.

 

ARIT Fellowships

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student engaged in research on ancient, medieval, or modern times in Turkey, in any field of the humanities and social sciences. Program offers the equivalent of one full academic year of study in Turkish at the college level.

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.
