Hugh E. Darley Sr. Technology Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum 2.5 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (minimum composite ACT score of 27). Applicant must be majoring in technology with a strong emphasis in design.

 

Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior who will graduate or have graduated from high school in Middle Tennessee and will be enrolling in a four-year not-for-profit college or university. Applicant must be a business major or STEM major and be able to demonstrate financial need. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Richard F. Walsh/Alfred W. DiTolla Scholarship

Award: $1,750, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must be attending a four-year school, be the son or daughter of a member of good standing of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists, and Allied Crafts of the United States and Canada. Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or a clergyman, SAT scores, and transcript.

 

STEM Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States who is registered for at least a half-time course load or more at a TSCG member institution in good standing as: a sophomore at a two-year institution; a sophomore at a four-year institution; a junior or senior at a four-year institution; or a first or second year student at a medical school.

 

Ohio Space Grant Junior and Senior Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math related discipline. Junior award may be renewed for one additional year.

 

STEM Major Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen enrolled at an accredited four-year institution who is enrolled in a degree-granting, graduate-level STEM major (science, technology, engineering, and math) program.

 

Burlington Business and Professional Women's Organization Science and Technology Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a female resident of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, or Lamoille County, VT who will pursue education or training in a science or technology field.

 

Richard T. Gates Engineering and Technology Endowed Challenge Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who was born in Vermont, currently attending a Windham County high school or Springfield High School, and will pursue a bachelor of science degree in engineering or technology at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement and financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must be a minority student enrolled in a technical degree program and have a minimum grade average of "B". Financial need is required. Award amount is dependent upon tuition balance, academic excellence and classification. The program is not open to Xerox Corporation employees, or their spouses and children.

 

Technology Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must be a Pennsylvania resident who is a high school graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in an approved science, technology, or allied health program at a Pennsylvania school, including community colleges, independent two-year colleges or private licensed schools offering approved programs. The goal of this program is to help address the critical need to educate and retain a workforce of highly trained technology experts that will help Pennsylvania attract and support new employers. Recipients of these scholarships must agree to work full-time in Pennsylvania following graduation, one year for each year that a scholarship award is received.

 

Mathematics, Science, and Technology Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 16 (FAFSA deadline); March 1 (nomination form)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is majoring in mathematics, science, or technology (including computer science and engineering). Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 and rank in top third of secondary school class required.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Board of Governors Priority Program

Award: $6,240, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must rank in top third of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000.

 

College of Business, Information, and Social Sciences Dean's Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum SAT reading and math combined score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 26). Three recommendations and a 1,000-word essay describing the applicant's professional and personal long-range goals are required.

 

Mildred K. Vogelsang Scholarship

Selection is based upon GPA, SAT or ACT scores, and recommendation from a science or technology teacher.

 

William (Bill) Barton Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA. Preference is given to Dairy students.

 

Walter J. Clark College Foundation BT Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and demonstrate active involvement in student activities.

 

William and Peter Haughton Memorial Scholarship

Ardanall B. Mason Memorial Scholarship

Grady Fippinger Scholarship

Applicant must be a Bisbee High School graduating senior entering Cochise College as a full-time freshman. Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and be majoring in mathematics, sciences or technology with a career objective of seeking work in one of those fields. A 250-500 word essay and two letters of recommendation are required.

 

MasterCard Scholarship Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent. Financial need is required.

 

Magna International Award for Excellence in Manufacturing Technology Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in the Bachelor of Technology Manufacturing program. Minimum 2.5 GPA with no failures on recent applications are required. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (National SMART Grant)

Award: $4,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a third or fourth year full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.

 

Michelson-Moreley STEM Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be an exceptional student who indicates an interest in majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. All first-time undergraduate applicants who meet the scholarship criteria will be considered.

 

Hoku Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a full-time student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in astronomy, computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or technology sciences. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Shuichi, Katsu & Itsuyo Suga Scholarship
