Automotive Hall of Fame Educational Fund

Applicant must show a sincere interest in an automotive career, be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States, and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Application, two letters of recommendation, and most recent transcripts are required to be submitted.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Logan Nainoa Fujimoto Memorial Scholarship (VocEd)

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii attending an accredited vocational education program in Hawaii or in the continental United States with a concentration in automotive technology. Preference given to students attending Universal Technical Institute.

 

March Taylor Educational Fund (VocEd)

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be from the island of Hawaii and enrolled in an auto body repair and painting program. Preference may be given to students from West Hawaii.

 

Andrew Piech Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 4

Applicant must be a legal resident of New Mexico who will be attending a nonprofit or public educational institution in an automotive technology program. Essay and a letter of recommendation are required.

 

GAAS Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or have a graduated from high school who is currently or will be enrolled in a full-time college-level program or an ASE/NATEF certified post secondary automotive technical program in the United States or Canada.

 

Douglas Kent Milholland Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a resident of Blackford County who is physically challenged and plans to pursue a post secondary education in an automotive program or other vocational field.

 

John Williams Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Perry County high school who plans to pursue education or training at an accredited automotive trade school. Minimum 2.0 maximum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Jack and Shirley Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school student, current or returning student, and those with a GED certificate who plans to enroll in a technical or mechanical training (particularly automotive-related) program, or veterinary-related or business related field. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue an education in the auto body or auto mechanics field.

 

John E. Mackesey Memorial Scholarship

Gewecke Memorial Scholarship

Chrysler Technical Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Delaware 23 years of age or younger who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution pursuing a degree in an automotive field. Financial need and minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

AmericanMuscle Student Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 15; June 15

Applicant must be a high school student who plans to pursue or a full-time student pursuing an automotive major at a United States college or technical institute. A 700- to 1,500-word essay on the following topic is required: How do you plan to use your automotive education to change the custom car industry for the better?

 

CARiD Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 30; October 31

Applicant must be a U.S. student who is between the ages of 16 and 20 that is currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program. Required to create and submit photo inspired by any aspect of the automotive industry.

 

Tau Beta Pi/Society of Automotive Engineers Engineering Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, be graduating high school seniors and have plans to major in engineering at an ABET-accredited institution. They must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher and must have SAT or ACT scores that rank in the 90th percentile. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

California - Hawaii Elks Association Vocational Grants

Award: $2,000, Deadline: 3 months after application is received

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and California or Hawaii residents. They must plan to pursue a vocational or technical course of study above and supplemental to high school or preparatory school. A high school diploma or equivalent is not required. Students planning to transfer into a bachelor's degree program upon completion of vocational studies are not eligible.

 

Louis B. Russell Scholarship

Applicants must be ethnic minority high school seniors who plan to pursue education in the area of industrial arts, vocational education or technical education at an accredited college or university.
