Applicant must be a full-time student and a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon merit and ability. Preference is given to female applicants.

Applicant must be a full-time student with an interest in telecommunications. Selection is based upon merit, ability, and financial need.

Applicant must have interest in the area of mixed analog and digital integrated circuit design.

Selection is based upon financial need and merit. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen and be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours per semester). Applicant should have a minimum 3.0 Quality Credit Average (QCA). Applicant must submit FAFSA.

 

Earl I. Anderson Scholarship

Award: $1,250, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a radio license and be an ARRL member. Preference is given to electronic engineering or related field majors and to residents of Florida, Illinois, Indiana, or Michigan who are attending school in state of residence.

 

American Society of Naval Engineers Award

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate an interest in naval engineering.

 

MSPE Saginaw Valley St U GM Endowed Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: First Monday in January

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Michigan resident, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 26, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation. Selection is based upon high school record, extracurricular activities, essay, recommendations, and evidence of leadership, character, and self-reliance.

 

B.J. Harrod Scholarship

Applicant must be a woman with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved institution, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

 

Dorothy M. and Earl S. Hoffman Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a woman with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution. Preference is given to Bucknell U and Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst students.

Applicant must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who is pursuing a career in the electrical or electrical engineering industry. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required. Award amount is determined by committee.

 

Meridith Thoms Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

 

Bechtel Corporation Scholarship

Applicant must have be a woman, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be an SWE member. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

 

Hans M. Nielsen Memorial Undergraduate Bursary

Award: $3,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen who is a resident of Alberta. Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

IDEA Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have at least a technician class amateur radio license and be a graduate of an Indiana high school attending an accredited Indiana college or university.

 

Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation College Scholarship Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage and is enrolled as a sophomore or senior college student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Sophomore applicants must be majoring in engineering (civil, chemical, electrical, geotechnical, mechanical, or petroleum), geology, geophysics, accounting, marketing, global procurement or supply chain management, environmental health and safety, energy management or petroleum land management, or transportation and logistics; senior applicants must be planning to earn a Master's degree in geology or geophysics. Recipient must agree to participate in a possible paid summer internship opportunity with Marathon Oil Corporation. FAFSA is required. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Alliance Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Selection will be based upon application, transcript, resume, and three letters of recommendation. Applicant must supply company specific ACT scores, interviews, and assessment.

 

Thomas N. Torgler Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Benson High School. FAFSA required.

 

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Portland Post Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Umatilla Electric Cooperative - Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Morrow, Umatilla, or Union County who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in electrical engineering at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

LHP Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew County who is pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

SAME Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student who is pursuing (or intending to pursue) a degree in an engineering field or related technical sciences, including architecture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or earth sciences.

 

Flosum Scholarship

Applicant must be an outstanding college student enrolled in an accredited four-year institution in the U.S. studying salesforce release management or application lifecycle management with a demonstrated interest in salesforce. Minimum 3.5 GPA, cover letter, and 1,000-word essay required.

 

AGCO Corporation FFA Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must have one of the following undergraduate majors: agronomy, crop science, general agriculture, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, sales and marketing, engineering, mechanization, agriculture power and equipment or welding. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board. Students must show financial need and evidence of community service participation.

 

Parsons Brinckerhoff Engineering Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolling as undergraduate students who have been COMTO members for at least one year. They must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
