Canada's University Scholarship-Francophone High School

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 84% average, must have a diploma from a francophone high school, and must have studied French.

 

Leonard Howarth Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman or transfer student who is interested in majoring in biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, mathematics, pre-engineering, or physics.

 

The Hubertus W.V. Willems Scholarship for Male Students

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 28

Applicant must be a male student, majoring in engineering, chemistry, physics or mathematical sciences in undergraduate or graduate school. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Banatao Filipino American Education Fund College Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 20

Applicant must be a current high school senior who is at least half Filipino and a resident of one of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, Marin, Merced, Monterey, Napa, Orange, Sacramento, San Benito, San Diego, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, or Stanislaus. Applicant must be planning to attend a four-year college or university and major in engineering, mathematics, computer science, environmental science, or a physical science. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required.

 

AeA Technology Scholarship

The Hubertus W.V. Willems Scholarship for Male Students

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a male and a citizen of the United States and be applying to or accepted at an accredited college (excluding proprietary schools) in the United States. Undergraduate applicants must be full-time students and graduate applicants may be full or part-time students. Undergraduate students must possess a GPA of 2.5 (C+) and graduate students must possess a GPA of 3.0 (B). NAACP membership is highly desirable and the applicant must demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in an ABET-accredited program. Selection is based upon financial need, faculty recommendations, leadership ability, and potential service to the HVAC and/or refrigeration profession.

Applicant must have graduated from a secondary school in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusettes, Rhode Island or Vermont or currently attend a New England college or university. Applicant must be pursing a Bachelor of Science or a graduate degree in engineering.

Georgia Engineering Foundation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 31

Applicant must major in engineering, be a U.S. citizen, and a resident of Georgia. Awarded based on demonstrated competence in mathematics, science, and communication skills.

 

Georgia Society of Professional Engineers Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must major in engineering or engineering technology. Applicant must have graduated high school in Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Evans, Effingham, McIntosh, Liberty, Long, Montgomery, Screven, Tattnall, or Toombs counties.

 

SAE Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and complete an admission interview.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.
