Rector's Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a bilingual Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 92 admission average including six OACs or equivalent, and must meet extracurricular or community excellence criteria. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Udall Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a full-time, degree-seeking U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

 

A.C. Siddall Educational Trust Fund Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident or current/past employee of a health care facility in the Allen Community Hospital District. Applicant must want to pursue or further their education in health care (including postgraduate or short-term refresher courses). Award is not for those who are studying to become doctors. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required. Award amount is determined by committee.

 

Joel Roger Wayne Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must demonstrate financial need.

 

Hope (General) Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Maryland resident, apply as a high school senior, have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA, enroll in an eligible program at a Maryland college or university, and have a combined annual family income of less than $95,000.

 

Hopi Supplemental Grant

Award: $1,500, Deadline: July 31 (fall); November 30 (spring); April 30 (summer)

Applicant must be an enrolled member of the Hopi Tribe. Entering freshman applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA or a minimum GED score of 45%. Continuing student applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Financial need is considered.

 

Health Professions General Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

Canada's University Scholarship-Immersion Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have a minimum 84% average, and have a diploma from an immersion program.

 

Canada's University Scholarship-Francophone High School

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 84% average, must have a diploma from a francophone high school, and must have studied French.

 

Bourse de la Francophonie

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and have a minimum 80% average.

 

David A. Campbell Memorial Fund

Award: $200, Deadline: February 13

Applicant must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, demonstrate promise in field, possess excellent critical thinking skills, and minor in athletic coaching or health science.

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Health Professions Scholarship

Applicant must rank in the top half of class and have a minimum combined SAT I score of 1140.

 

Carolyn and Eugene Farraher Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate commitment to community involvement.

 

Albert E. Dyckes Health Scholarship

Applicant must be a rising senior student majoring in a health-related profession. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Selection based upon academic honors, leadership positions, community service, and work experience during college.

Jane Ferguson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must demonstrate financial need.

 

Finck Family Charitable Fund Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or community college student in Ventura County with a 3.0 GPA, who is intending to enroll for a degree in education, health-related studies, or social services at an accredited college, university, or vocational school.

 

Andrew Mackay Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be returning as a third year full-time undergraduate student.

 

Tadeusz Specht Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with a minimum 90% admissions average to apply and registered with a minimum of 12 credits per term. Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA required during first semester; 3.5 GPA required in order to maintain award. Applicant must be pursuing studies in health-related sciences.

 

Cora Aguda Manayan Fund

Applicant must be majoring in a health-related field and be of Filipino ancestry. Preference may be given to applicants studying in Hawaii.

 

Dr. Hans and Clara Zimmerman Foundation Health Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in a health-related field (excluding sports medicine, psychology unless clinical, or social work) at a college or university in the U.S. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Harrison-Thompson Bursary Trust

Applicant must be an undergraduate student in one of the following fields of study: applied health science; business; humanities; mathematics; science; social science. Applicant must demonstrate academic excellence and financial need, and meet Ontario residency requirements.

 

Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund Parent Bursary

Award: $450, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a returning student majoring in applied health science, business, health science, mathematics, science or social science, who demonstrates satisfactory academic standing and financial need, and meets Ontario residency requirements.

 

Knetzer-Urwin Family Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 13

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Dalton High School who will enroll full-time in health services, medicine or nursing.

 

Cables and Sensors Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: November 15

Applicants should be currently enrolled in degree programs in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare. Students must be a legal residents of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa.

 

Bill Bendiner and Doug Morgenson Scholarship

Award: $3,250, Deadline: January 13

Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and be high school seniors or college or graduate students (community college, four-year public or private college or university, certificate program, vocational/technical/trade programs, law school, medical/dental/veterinary school or graduate education). Students must be members of the LGBTQ and allied community and display leadership either within the LGBTQ community or within their field of study and demonstrate financial need. Students with additional barriers to education as well as those who are economically, racially, socially, geographically or politically disenfranchised will be given consideration as well. Applicants must be pursuing a career in human services, health sciences, or visual arts.
