Myron and Elinor Kolbe Agricultural Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant but be an undergraduate student from Lorain County who is enrolled in a four-year college preparing for a career in agriculture, including but not limited to animal science and veterinary medicine. Preference is given to students from the Black River, Keystone, and Wellington School Districts. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required.

 

Memorial Conservation Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a New Jersey resident who is a full-time student in good standing at an accredited college. Applicant must be an undergraduate enrolled in a major curriculum of agriculture or natural resource conservation, including agronomy, soil science, plant science, forestry, geography, journalism, agricultural education, environmental science, wildlife or fisheries management, environmental engineering, and other areas related to conservation.

 

Hope (General) Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Maryland resident, apply as a high school senior, have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA, enroll in an eligible program at a Maryland college or university, and have a combined annual family income of less than $95,000.

 

Agriculture General Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

Agricultural Journalism Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant must be enrolled at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

 

Alberta Berley Commission - Eugene Boyko Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant attending an Alberta post-secondary institution as per Alberta Scholarship Programs regulations. Applicant must be enrolled in the second or subsequent year of post-secondary study and taking courses with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Kristin Peck Memorial Scholarship

Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership, and active participation in FFA and/or 4-H.

 

Lt. Col. Leo A. Polinsky Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a continuing or internal transfer Bachelor of Technology student who is majoring in agricultural or natural resources. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

J. Roger Barber Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: None

Applicant must come from a rural area of New York and demonstrate excellent citizenship, scholarship, and leadership skills. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Easterm States Exposition Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Preference is given to applicant who has participated in the Eastern States Exposition.

 

Kenneth Gunter Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be an agriculture major, with a 2.0 or higher GPA, and can score team points at one NIRA rodeo. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1 (postmark date)

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college, or if still in high school, must have an expected graduation date in the spring. College applicants must be working toward a degree in either agriculture and/or agribusiness. Must be the son/daughter of an Iowa Farm Bureau member.

Applicant must be a resident of the Hilo and Hamakua coasts and be majoring in agriculture, medicine, science or nursing.

 

John Deere Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be an undergraduate student wishing to pursue a career in an agricultural-related industry. Essay, two letters of recommendation, official transcript, student aid report, and financial aid award letters are required to be submitted.

 

Umatilla County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Morrow or Umatilla County high school who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in an agriculture-related field at Blue Mountain Community College, Eastern Oregon University, Oregon State University, University of Idaho, or Washington State University. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Willamette Valley Agriculture Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must enroll as a college junior or above for the fall term at a four-year public college or university in Oregon majoring in agriculture education, animal science, or an agriculture-related industry.

 

Jack F. and Edith Updyke Harmon Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Tennessee High School in Bristol, TN; Virginia High School, and John S. Battle High School, both in Bristol, VA; Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN; or Bland High School in Bland, VA. Applicant must be pursuing full-time enrollment at one of the following institutions: Emory & Henry College, King College, East Tennessee State University, or the University of Tennessee College of Agriculture in Knoxville. Financial aid and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Boone County Agriculture Scholarship for High School Seniors

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will pursue a post secondary education in an agriculture related field. Essay and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Charlotte Carr Tyre Scholarship

Award: $8,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who will major in an agriculture-related field at Purdue University in West Lafayette. Essay and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Carl H. Witt Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Boone County high school who resides in Boone County and will attend a college or university in Indiana majoring in agriculture or business. Essay and minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

McKinley Vance Agri-Business Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Daviess County high school who ranks in the upper third of their class, has participated in 4-H for at least four years, and is enrolling in a bachelor's degree program at a college or university pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture.

 

Oscar and Helen Uebelhack Agriculture Scholarship

Award: $1,280, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture or animal science. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

Scott Family Agricultural Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Eastern Hancock High School who intends to pursue a two- or four-year degree in an agricultural field full-time. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

J. Howard Beam Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus East, Columbus North, or Hauser High School who will attend Purdue University and major in the field of agriculture.
